Counterpart

I've just started watching Counterpart. Originally drawn to it because Guy Burnet shows his beautiful arse (about fucking time Guy) the premise is intriguing. With touches of Total Recall and Highlander it's looking like quite an impressive sci-fi show so far.

Can't see any similarities between Counterpart and Total Recall or Highlander
But it is excellent! JK Simmons is brilliant!

I never got round to finishing this series. Into episode 3 and the themes it deals with are eerily apposite.

A Global Pandemic, closed borders, suspicion of others, special visas, vaccines, two separate worlds operating simultaneously ( coming I think) and even the 'vaccination figures for Italy' get a special mention. When I started this thread the premise was sci-fi but now a lot of it is actually happening.

Definitely worth the effort of working out who's who and from which side.
