With less than a month to go, I'm getting psyched up. What are some of the goings on from Aug 25 to Sept. 3? If you know of anything out of the ordinary Please post it. Are any of the charity dinners scheduled for late Aug. I have attended one in the last two visits, and had a great time at each one. Won a door prize both times so I'm prone to want to dip in the honey pot one more time. What a hoot, good time, good food and do a bit of good at the same time. I'm already frothing at the mouth in anticipation of seeing my two long term friends and also my Thai Boxing gang at the Doll House. O camera be ready, if you take less that stellar pics you will be consigned to Davy Jone's treasure chest.

Probably one of the best sources of activities that are scheduled well ahead of time is the listing on http://www.boxertravels.com . Boxer currently lists the following in late August and September:
Aug 17 Wine Club Dinner at Royal Cliff
Aug 20 PGF Dinner at Bruno's - Special French Chef
Aug 24 PGF Committee Meeting Amor 4pm
Sept 1 Ian's Birthday Buffet Le Cafe Royale
Sep 25 Mr Body Beautiful 2006 Throb TBC

Boxer has a separate listing for events outside of the Pattaya area.

For more detail as things get a little closer to time, the Weekly Report on Thailand on the www.pattayagay.com/weeklyreport.html (http://www.pattayagay.com/weeklyreport.html) can be helpful. I usually don't put much on about an event until about 3 weeks ahead of time, sometimes four weeks ahead.

The Aug. 20 Pattaya Gay Festival dinner at Bruno's in the Jomtien area would be just what you're looking for, but it's a little too early for your arrival. The event at Le Cafe Royale Sept. 1 should be fun; the guys from Cafe Royale always put on a rather spectacular event for the boss's birthday!

OTHER CALENDAR LISTINGS Outside the Pattaya area: Dreaded Ned (www.dreadedned.com (http://www.dreadedned.com)) and Dragoncastle (www.dragoncastle.net (http://www.dragoncastle.net)) both have listings of events coming up in the Bangkok area and other areas of Thailand as well.
