I haven't been here for a while, but a text from Ronan prompted me to return for a short visit. Ronan, thanks for your message - I've no credit in my phone, so can't reply directly. I'm doing okay. My best friend of 20 years died recently at age 69. We went to Pattaya together for my first trip back in the day. He never made it back. I miss him so much. In his memory, I'll be doing a safari in Kenya when my small pension kicks in about 3 years from now. He did a lot of work there, training teachers in special education. So it's unlikely I'll return to Thailand, but you never know.

I hope you're all doing okay - Ronan, colmx, NIrish, Scottish (bf still with you?), Smiles, bobsaigon, and any other reprobates I've missed. Take care, guys. My memories of Thailand are stored safely in my heart.

Hi Joe, good to hear from you again. Sorry to hear about your friend. Don’t forget you’ve always got friends here to say hi too, planning, going to or just coming back from a trip to Thailand ISNT a prerequisite for posting here ocassionally - no matter what some might have us try to believe :-). The board has areas for “gay world and everything else” etc so I think that should just about cover most subject matter.

So hope to still hear from you occasionally here.

Joe, I'm dashed! We were sooooo close to the posts regarding Cndmatt-in-the-flesh, with photos and analysis as well. Now all he does is whine like a baby in Vancouver.
But never mind ... enjoy Africa and wherever your pensions take you. Don't ever stop checking out the next bubble butt(s) who may wander past you (with a wink): that alone will keep you healthy and happy.
