Phuket, Patong: K-Hotel gayfriendly?

Hi, has anyone stayed at the k-Hotel on Patong?
I am thinking of booking my room there since it looks nice and has gotten decent reviews (and charges no joiner rip off).
Does anyone know if they are gay friendly or at least gay tolerant?

.. but you will probably not get "in-tolerant" in Patong. They will undoubtedly not give a tinker's damn whether you're straight, gay or M. Homintern ~ though the latter may be stretching credulity a tad. So I'd not even let The Gay Thing enter into the equation.

The K-Y Hotel is just across the main drag from Gay Central Sois in the Paradise Complex so it is very convenient. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. That road can be very busy so be careful running across it if you're blitzed (as so many are on any given night). In 2004 (I think) I witnessed 2 (possibly) dead guys and a mangled motorbike lying in blood pools there on the road at the doorway to the K-Hotel.
It can also be quite noisy on that road, but the hotel's photos show lots of trees to cut the din.
