I've observed over the years that in many (most?) cases where gay men are targeted for murders it transpires that the perpetrator turns out to be a gay or bisexual man himself - so the story doesn't surprise me.

The French have a saying for murders - "Cherchez la Femme" but my schoolboy french (that's not a euphemism for my early sexual experiences) does not stretch to translating "Look For The Poof" - perhaps Francois can assist

I never mentioned pedo - I checked the etymology when you originally posted the word because it did look like it.

Not that anything like that would go on in Sunee anyway - it's all meat loaf and incontinence pants these days isnt it?
