Useful websites for finding lodging/accommodations in Bangkok

An acquaintance suggested several useful websites for finding accommodations and lodging in Bangkok, and other parts of Thailand.
The information is in both Thai and English; many places rent by the day and by the week; you can search by specific areas of Bangkok

I have been told that there are some good deals, and will perhaps take a look at some of the offerings during my next trip to Thailand.

These websites give an idea what's available, but in the end the search is best done on foot, with help of a Thai-speaking person (unless you can read Thai yourself). My experiences and more links here:
