Has anyone any idea , how much the drink tax increase, will be and what effect it will have on bar prices

The tax increase will probably be small and the drink price increase large. If past experience is anything to go by.

SHOP prices for the standard bottles small/big should be around 2/3 bt. BUT its not the last and final: there willbe ditto increases likely every year.
BTW-sometimes here in EUR some big shop-chains have asian weeks and sell Thai beers in that, Singh or Chang-most often for lower prices as in Th as per same bottle. Just shows how much that tax is-higher as shipping rates from there to here.

a bog ado over nothing..unless u live in thailand on a limited/modest pension life is still very affordable compared to the rest of the "liveable" world.
