Hi everybody, hope you're all having a nice time.

Would like to ask if you could recommend a nice hotel geared towards gay tourists in Bangkok. Is the Pullman Bangkok G a nice place to stay? I have 2 others that I'm considering, the Dusit Thani and a hotel in Chinatown called Shanghai Mansion bangkok. Any info would be very much appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day :)

I think it has less to do with whether you are gay or not, but rather the gays friends you may or may not be bringing back to one of these fine hotels.
You may want to elaborate more on your plans for the best possible answer to this very common question.

I am planing to visit by the end of the month and to be honest I have absolutely no experience in finding gay mates and offering them to spend the night with me. I am hoping to initially explore the gay scene and possibly the apps but assuming that a person finds me interesting and wants to spend time with me I'll be thinking about how to bring them back to my hotel room. If I am not mistaken the Pullman Bangkok G is guest friendly but will keep the guest's ID. Don't know about the other 2 establishments. Again I will have to overcome my inhibitions to make a proposal to somebody to spend their time with me. Thank you for your help and guidance, it is much appreciated.

The Tarntawan Place Hotel would be my recommendation if you don't need the luxury of Dusit Thani but want a gay friendly hotel that is in the same area of Bangkok. This has been one of the long time gay hotels in Bangkok. Recent management changes seem to have stabilized. Guests are welcome and their ID will be checked before they go to your room. If you do not escort your guest out the desk will call your room to be sure there were no problems with your guest before they let them leave. I very much appreciate this kind of safety. It is an older Hotel but has all the basics like room service, restaurant, aircon, laundry service etc. Like Dusit located in the heart of the bar area in Bangkok.

Dusit Thani and Pullman G are fine with guests bringing someone back. Never had an issue. So are the Crowne Plaza, Le Meridien and W Bangkok if you want to stay in that area.

Asian Traveller's post makes perfect sense but as sure as ram is mutton someone here will find something wrong with it.
(Sorry but my hunting & pecking finger will put a 2nd L in traveller no matter what I do to stop it.)
If you choose to stay further out from gayland and you get an urgent urge to try the goods there are pretty nice short-time rooms at the Suriwong Hotel for about B350. Excuse me if that lowers the tone.

Asian Traveller's post makes perfect sense but as sure as ram is mutton someone here will find something wrong with it.Since ram (an entire) is never mutton (a ewe or a castrated male) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamb_and_mutton) it seems to be perfect nonsense as an analogy

All you've learned in this case is that when it comes to sheep 'frequent' is a mutton-head.
Ewe = mature female sheep.
Wether=castrated male sheep.
Ram= mature male sheep.
Mutton "flesh of sheep used as food late 13c.from old French "Moton".
"Mutton; ram,wether,sheep 12c."
Online Etymological Dictionary.

Thanks, FarangRuMak, but now I'm even more confused. Should I stop shagging any sheep I come across, and stick to rams only?

I've heard all the stories about Wales, now
Ireland. I just fucking knew they were true, I just knew it, just fucking knew it...

Latinpox & borooooooooring...
Don't blame me please.
I like to avoid wooly thinking so I used a throw-away figure of speech and I got fleeced for that.
The wigs, nips and tucks and jet-black dye testifies to a great deal of mutton dressed up as lamb around the bars so there's a tangental relevance as least.

I've read on line that the "Libtards" in Canada are proposing to make (or already have made) beastiality a legal choice for consenting adults and mature animals.
Could a well informed Canadian respond please.

I'm a well-informed Canadian and I'm OK with that, just so long as Newfounders are excluded from it.

And as for A447's incredibly rude attempt at racial humour: go fuck a duck, eh.

Oops! Sorry smiles. I'd completely forgotten about you! How did that happen?

You are certainly "well-informed".

Have I forgotten anybody else, by chance?

Hmmm....I don't think so.

Oh, and btw, it wasn't an attempt at humour, racial or otherwise.

I don't have any sense of humour!

Uh, your friend Surfcrest. :D (Latinpoxx tried to get Canadian citizenship once but was refused due to two incidents of pedophilia and one incident of indecent exposure in Australia.)

A few others hardly important.

I presume the exclusion of Newfounders is on animal welfare grounds?

Isn't it Newfoundland? Natives of which are called Newfies, and have an Irish accent? My Canadian relatives all live on the west coast, so they're not newfies.

...back onto topic..I've stayed at lotsa BKK hotels ranging from very high end 5 star to NO star....and have never had issues inviting a MB to my room...never overnight...at most a sweat filled 3 hour session. If one carries oneself with a bit of decorum (smiles, scatty and a447...would struggle to comprehend) ...then this is not an issue...but if one flounces into the hotel shrieking/giggling like a drunk ladyboy dragging a MB on one arm..then that is an issue.
