first trip

hi everyone
ive been to thailand and cambodia loads of times.
next year iam looking to go to vietnam
think to fly to Ho CHi Minh city, spend a few days there then fly down to a island to chill out, was looking at
Phu Quoc island.
I will be taking my cambodian bf with me, so not really looking for action, just want a nice relaxed holiday with taken in the local sights.
has anyone got any advice on this holiday plan please
