Note the prices. Higher for men than for women. Outrageous. Them lezzers and wimmin will no doubt be organising a Greenham Common style camp outside the hotel to protest.

....if was actually at Greenham Common they'd be waving their sanitary products in the air in protest at having to pay for them - that's the latest demand you know - free fanny pads on the NHS

Just post on Trip Advisor stating why you're not going to be staying at their hotel.

If that kind of thing is acceptable, I think we should start charging women more tax, since on average they take much more pension out of the system.

How come? Is it because they live longer?

Not really. It's a "glass half full" view.

A westerner sees it as men paying more. A Japanese would no doubt see it as women paying less. The rationale is obviously because they are thought to eat less.

Well anyway, despite the hotel's policies on buffet charging I've still booked to stay there. I'll let you know what it's like.

And don't be surprised if you see female clients in the restaurants being given smaller chopsticks than the guys, or drinking from smaller tea cups.

That's the way it is over there.

BTW, Osaka is the food capital of Japan - at least, that's what the locals believe.

Enjoy!

Two things that are driving the femenazis crazy:
Paternity testing services.
Viagra.
The former exposes the age-old, widespread (sic)
infidelity of women.
The latter gives to men an old age with a silver lining.

Not only does this hotel charge women less than men for the rather poor looking buffet but they also charge 500 yen cover charge to go into the bar. Even for guests of the hotel. Absolutely fucking outrageous. I've never heard of that before anywhere in the world.

Yes, unheard of.

Did that 500 yen include your first drink?

No. One beer and a plate of ham and camenbert was priced at 1500 yen but with the additions including tax it came to nearly 2400 yen.
