I was listening to the talkback radio tonight and they were talking about the Roger Hussey the 71yo Aussie guy who died last week in Phuket.

The announcer said what was he doing parasailing at 71 ?

Got to admit he looks very fit for 71 !

Isnt 71 now considered young?

The times I have walked around Sunee Plaza and Boyztown to see older Farangs hobbling and limping and moaning and whining at that age ,
"Oh oh oh they moan the musics too loud "
"Oh oh oh they complain its too hot in here "

Some of them are old nasty and bitter !

I say good on him at that age !

Heres the video link , RIP

Should you be parasailing at 71? Definitely yes if you're fit and energetic enough. Should you be acting like a childish arsehole on a message board at any age? Probably not.

You shouldn't even buy green bananas when you're 71.

Great line. Never heard that one before. Not always accurate though.

When a Farang friend who is in his upper 70s and not in best health asked me last year to bring medicine from Cambodia that is significantly cheaper there, I thought "a one year's supply at your age and health is optimistic!" and then asked him to give me the money for the medicine (around 25 USD) in advance.

Did you pussy-foot around or did you straight out tell him he was being over optimistic and you couldn't risk the go-go money on a bad bet?
