Well just back form a quick four night jaunt to sin city and so here is my report.
The weather was cool and beautifully breezy, really quite autumnal and the Pattaya atmosphere was decidedly laid back. A little rain but nothing to worry about.
I ate at several places. The Glasshouse remains a superb destination and for a relaxing lunch at reasonable prices and sumptious surroundings there is no better place in Pattaya. The restaurant near the lighthouse also delivers wonderful food with a great view of Koh Larn and the passing super tankers. I went there with a friend and we had Thai chicken curry, papaya salad, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp and deep fried mackerel. With a couple of bottles of water the bill was 660 baht. I also had dinner at both Deli Diner and Petite Planete and both delivered excellent food. highlight was (as usual) a seafood dinner in Bang Saray. The deep fried seabass was of a size that Captain Ahab could have hunted it, over a foot long and cost just 360 baht.
Gogo bars: In Sunee none of them were busy but Nice Boys had about 25 boys available the night I left. Two of my three offs were from there and Eros and both were fantastic, delivering handsomely on everything we had agreed in the bar and doing it with a pleasant personality knowing exactly how much money they were going to get at the end. I can't tell you lot this enough times.
Boystown was pleasant with enough customers to create a good atmosphere but not overly crowded so the whole place was in a good mood. 360 Bar is a welcome addition and I liked their quirky design, it's comfortable and they had a lot of boys although they were mostly twinks which are not my type but for some it's what they want. I was allowed to smoke, BBB is always vibrant and gets pretty busy for the show whatever time of year is is. The show I saw was the lip synch 'cabaret' which is so old and tired as to be worthy of a telegram from The Queen. Funny Boys had a nice selection and as always the management are friendly and welcoming. Castro remains a great place to sit and watch boys. My visit to x-Boys is on another thread.
So to sum up. Yet another absolutely fantastic trip to Pattaya and as soon as I've finished writing this I shall be booking my next trip.
