My guess is most older English now this movie series, but since I am not a native English "gentleman" I never heard or saw it.

A 16 movie series I like and maybe you do also. Ready for download at RARBG again. Thanks to the uploader, not me.
Direct link/search to the torrents:
https://rarbg.to/torrents.php?search=sharpes&category[]=14&category[]=48&category[]=17&category[]=44&category[]=45&category[]=47&category[]=42&category[]=46
(OK, THIS LINK IS INCORRECT, UNLESS YOU COPY AND PASTE THE WHOLE THING)

Choose your preferred quality. The first 15 are available in 720 and/or 1080 small sized (1-2 GB) per movie.
The last one is either standard (small) or 1080 (but 4 GB per part / 2 parts)

You may also enjoy the Sharpe books and many others by Bernard Cornwell. Many are available in either epub or mobi on torrent sites:

Are these Sharpe books related to Thailand in some way?

Are these Sharpe books related to Thailand in some way?

Of course it does. For all the many expats who live here and understand English spoken movies or written books, it could be interesting.
Not all Thailand entertainment has to be boys, bars, dinner and booze. Who knows maybe a boyfriend could learn some history (although I doubt these movies are historical accurate).

Besides that yes you could say this belongs in the "Anything Else" part and surely it will be moved there. Point is most people never check those sub-forums (I do once in a while/month maybe).

A small niche forum like Sawatdee, should have 1 main forum, as it has now "Sawatdee Gay Thailand" and a few more detailed like the online dating stuff or Cambodia, but many subjects are of interest to the general (non-)expat farangs, which will be a waist of time to post in the last sub-forum, but indeed after 1-2 weeks should be moved there.

Just my 2 cents of worth.

Thank you Oldfarang. I watched this series many years ago in USA. A few months ago, I tried to find it on a couple of torrent sites I use and found only the first of the series. I am now downloading the remaining episodes from the link you provided. Again thanks.

Your welcome 2lz2p (does that name has a special meaning),

I am currently watching number 9 in de series and am still enjoying it (with a drink at home, this time)

I always try to share stuff I enjoy, no need for me to talk about boys and bars, is done to death by most others already and weekly/monthly repeated.
Just waiting for the next viagra thread to open again, where to buy and such.

The link gives all movies available in all sizes. I am OK with 720, but if a 1080 is there, of course better quality.
Note that some 1080 have 2 version 1-2 GB and 5-6 GB. The 1-2 GB (rarbg) version is good enough, unless you have super high speed, but it are torrents, so depends on the amount of available peers/seeders.

Took me 2 days here in Thailand to download all 16 movies, just because to few seeds/peers, never pulled my full download speed.

I somewhat agree with you. When something is posted in Anything Else it does get lost since few people look at it. On other hand too many posts of non-thai related items in main forum may overwhelm primary topics? The format that Gaybuttonthai now uses is quite clever. All recent topics are listed first and then sorted into their sub forums. Maybe Moses could do something similar on this forum?

For myself, I was a devotee of the Hornblower series both in book form and TV series.

That is the beauty of torrent sites. Not available, but then later somebody shares them again.
My favorite is RARBG and also PirateBay

I never heard of The HornBlower, but until a few days ago, I never heard of this movies series also.
Who knows, maybe the same guy/girl who released these Richard Sharpe a few days ago, will do the same with the one you like.
I will keep an eye on it and when I see them as torrents, I will post it here, or "Anything Else" if the moderator gets upset with me for posting it in the main forum..

At the very bottom of this page, is a link to Sawatdee Network Home. This lines all of the recent posts up in chronological order from the most recent for all Forums.

There indeed is and I am sure it will hardly ever be used, hence a single link at the bottom.
Beside that, not really important for a low interest thread like this, because it shows the last posts. Well today is Sunday always quiet, but normally 1-2 threads generate 2o-30-40 posts, when about boys, bars, tip, well the Thailand holiday crap.

ESPECIALLY when the group of hateful members towards each other start another stupid offtopic argument again, like in so many threads.

Therefore other threads/posts will get lost there anyway. It is a useless link/page which 95-100% will not use, unless somebody comes here every day of every hour to check for new posts. If so I feel sorry for that person and he should get a life.

Thanks for the subtle message, next time I will post my uninteresting stuff in "everything else"where it will be seen by 5% of the members.
It's OK, not my problem

I like these Richard Sharpe movies, even since I am not English.

They do as so many other movies show the real perspective, that you got the lords and real gentleman.
Common people are not allowed or accepted, even after proving themselves.
GB is still like that as is most of the world, just more hidden.

That does reminds me of something else, I have seen many many decades or years.

Hornblower is available on Kickass Torrents, but not in HD.

Yes it does have a meaning - When I first started posting on the gay message boards, it sort of popped into my head to use it -- until the Avatar, the 2lz2p wasn't easy to decipher. My Avatar is a cattle brand (being from Oklahoma originally but spending last 20+ years in Texas) - the 2 and p are straight forward - the 2 lying on its back with a bar under it is referred to as a "lazy two" - thus it would read phonetically as "too lazy too pee."

The Hornblower made for TV series is good - based on the books by C.S. Forester (I read all the books in my youth) - the TV series deals with Hornblower as a Midshipman and Lieutenant - there is also one Hornblower movie made in 1951 with Gregory Peck as Capt. Hornblower - I'm an avid fan of the British Navy during the Napoleonic wars - there are numerous books that are series based on one individual - my favorites being the Bolitho series by Alexander Kent (completed) and the Lewrie series by Dewey Lamdin (over 20 books and still going).

I have now downloaded #2 thru #9 of the Sharpes series (started them yesterday) and started downloading #10 thru #16. I didn't realize it, but the last two in the series were made after I moved to Thailand; so I know I have not seen them at all. I am generally satisfied with the smaller files - faster to download and less space taken up on my hard drive. I have a WD media player hooked up to my big screen TV and use a 1 TB USB drive to connect to the media player.

Again thanks for the info on the Sharpes series, I'm looking forward to sipping my martini in front of the TV tonight as I watch Sharpe in action.
