I'm in Singapore lah.

I've been for a wander in the area around my hotel in Bugis, hoping against hope that I'd find something interesting but was hardly surprised when I didn't. Afterall, this isn't Pattaya.

Saturday night I went to Gardens by the Bay to catch the light show. Amazing! After the show I wandered over to take in the concert.

The first act was two hot young guys dancing. I felt a bit embarrassed as I was the only onlooker who cheered at the end of their act. People standing in front of me turned around and stared. So, that's what a gay guy looks like!

Act two was a very suggestive dance routine by 5 young scantily dressed girls. The guys in the crowd went wild, clapping and cheering, Nikons and hard-ons at the ready.

Suddenly, I felt the presence of someone getting very close to me. I was standing with my hands behind my back and I felt heavy breathing on my neck and a cock being pushed against my hands.

I stiffened meh! I ran my fingers along it and started playing with the head -it was nearly bursting out of his pants. I stood there, eyes closed, thinking about the young, hot, handsome hunk standing behind me, writhing in pleasure as I worked on his cock,

I could bear it no longer - I had to turn around.

WTF lah!!!

Staring me in the face was an old chubby Chinese, leering lasciviously at me with a face like a dropped pie.

I do actually have standards, albeit quite low. I decided to go. He obviously doesn't, as he started following me.

I managed to lose him in the crowd but he knew where I was headed - to the train station - and cut me off at the pass. I made it to the stairs and thankfully he was too fat to catch me. I'd made a successful getaway.

But then I got thinking. What if I came back the next day and just wandered around the expansive gardens? Perhaps I'd manage to meet up with a hot guy for a bit of compensated dating. So I went back the next day but to no avail. Plenty of eye candy but not a single bite.

But all was not lost. I visited the Flower Dome and the Cloud. Unbelievable! A must-see if you ever come to Singapore.

I got back to my hotel, only to find they hadn't made up my room, so I called reception. Within minutes two guys turned up at the door. OMG lah! One was drop-dead gorgeous!!

He smiled as he leant over the bed to change the sheets. I almost needed to change my underwear as thoughts of us both rolling around on the bed raced through my head.

But then he was gone.

That was the first, and last, I've seen of him.

I wandered along Orchard Road in the evening but again, didn't run into any prospective bed partner. So back to the hotel to look on Gayromeo.

The escort section consists only of guys from overseas, all who boast 23cm of hard cock. Too big for me. So I researched the massage places.

I noticed something very strange. They all had photos of the 'masseurs" but every site had the same guys! What's going on?? Do they just share them around? The prices are ridiculous -$330 for 90 minutes, plus taxi fare and there's no guarantee you'll get anything more than a handjob. And as I think there's something going on with the boys advertised as working in these places, I may not even get the guy I want.

So I've given up finding any action in Singapore but am more than happy to just enjoy the city.

Despite what people say, there is litter here. Must be cleaning products carelessly disposed of, I thought. But no. Cigarette butts and real litter! But overall, it does live up to its reputation of being a very clean city.

And the people are friendly. And technology abounds. And everything is very efficient. And the food is delicious.

You just can't get a fuck here, lah.

Today I went for a 4 hour walk around Chinatown and early in the walk came across Dspa Massage in Temple Street.

It has a discreet entrance off the pavement. I walked up the flight of stairs and into the rather sumptuous foyer. Quite a change from those in Thailand.

I was met by an attractive Chinese hunk.

'You have reservation?"

Not yet, I said. I enquired as to what types of massages were available but he couldn't understand a word I was saying.

WTF lah?

I thought everyone in Singapore spoke English; well, a kind of English but that is not the case at all. For example, the hotel staff do but the cleaning staff don't.

"Besides the massage, what else do you do?"

"Hard and soft massage."

Mmm...should I perhaps indicate with my hand what I was after? Discretion got the better of me.

"Any extras?"

"We have boy from Malaysia and China."

"Ok. I'm going for a walk. I'll come back later."

"Cannot go out. Only here."

With that, I gave up.

But I did enjoy a lot of eye candy. Those hot and sweaty Indian construction workers are a real turn-on with their great bodies and beautiful faces. I also had a nice long chat with a handsome Chinese guy. I pretended I was lost and asked him for directions.

"Go down this street, turn right at the first corner and then take the second street on the left lah."

"Ok. I've got it. I go up the street, turn left at the second street."

"No, no. You go down the street, this way, and then............."

I think he caught on, but he was very sweet about it.

One thing that really pisses me off about Singapore is the 17% added to your bill. I noticed this when I checked in to the hotel and found the price of the room was more than I saw on Booking.com when I made the reservation. In restaurants, it's written in very small print on the bottom of the menu.

They should be more upfront about it IMHO.

The final thrill of the day came as I was walking back to the hotel tonight. I saw a black guy in tight white shorts with a truly massive bulge. He was standing on the footpath smoking so I took a seat on the edge of the flowerbed to enjoy the view! He finished his cigarette all to quickly.

Pity it wasn't a cigar.

With your liberal use of 'lah' & 'meh' I'm surprised that you didn't snag any Singaporean Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, or guest workers over there.

a447, forget the street pick-ups, they are way too public and the morality police are everywhere. Please also remember, under the law in Sg, a hotel room is a public place so you get no right of privacy.

While it is quite some time since I last went 'trolling' in Sg, I have had great success just by going into a department store (Tangs? for example) and inspecting their range of swimmers and underwear. Go with eye-contact and a smile only. Those that are interested will approach you, discreetly.

While there are some who like to share with mature-aged guys, most Sg guys are very 'ageist' and a bit snooty if you do not measure up to their couture standards.

That said, once you get introduced to a group - Chin or Malay - then you can have lots of fun. Easiest way would be to introduce yourself to some of the Euros/Oz/Us/etc that live there and build a friendship with them. You may need to spend several weeks building those types of relationships.

Good luck.
