... on YouTube now, with english subs. Not sure how long it's been there, but I vaguely remember some queries about it.
It's just OK really, a bit poorly edited, story line much the same as quite few other Thai gay movies where boy meets boy. But no ghosts (a blessing), and the usual longish getting-to-know-you scenes when in fact it screams out for-god-sake-get-on-with-it scenes. But it can be quite touching at times, and the two main players (Nam and Meauk) have a decent amount of the right chemistry, as well as just the right amount of the obligatory shyness, without being maudlin.
The English sub titles are far from perfect, but that goes for most Asian movies, most of the time.
Water Boyz on YouTube is not one long movie but 5 parts which take up about 20 minutes each ... a process which is only a minor pain in the ass. There is an all-in-one version also on YouTube, but it does not have English subs. Up to you.
