I really hope you're not posting all these threads with images, with hopes of a setup later on to complain they didn't get transferred to the new board.

Nothing you posted today is going to get transferred to the new board, eh? This is just a temporary hang out to chat for a bit, but everything posted today will be gone shortly.

Seems to be an ongoing crackdown in Pattaya. I saw a news article that 5 bars in walking street were visited and CUSTOMERS were checked for passports.

If no passport (or I assume photocopy), they were taken to Police Station and released upon further checking.

Guess I won't be needing that folder.

I always carry a photocopy of the photo page in my passport but I never get round to copying the immigration card. Does anyone know if the police can access the immigration computer to check if tourists are ok to be in the country? In early February in Bangkok the police were stopping some cars/taxis going back into the city near Phetchaburi MRT and checking id cards and doing drug tests.

Ordinary police cannot check the immigration status directly. That explains a lot.
