I've moved the Western Union thread into the Shop Forum to read and moderate.

It I'll be back in a bit, it's going to be a long read.

Just a reminder of the Rules and every member's right to privacy.

Thanks,

Didn't take long for that new site to turn into bitch board 2 ( or is that 3 ?) - except that the harsh words are being directed at the owner of the site this time it seems ......

I have found in life that it's generally not advisable to give your details to, or subscribe to, sites owned and managed by someone against whom there are significant allegations of fraud.

... or accept free offers of... $20-worth of bitcoin direct to your "wallet", especially when a little research reveals this is often the start of a pyramid or matrix scam. http://d.pr/i/kShY

I could be wrong, but I don't think Bruce has anything to do with AirBitz itself. He's just a big fan of them. I don't want to see AirBitz get tarnished, as I don't believe they've done anything nefarious. Brice isn't on "The Team" page of the site at least.

I'll still say they made a fundamental design flaw, and I wouldn't recommend using that app, but I doubt they did it for nefarious reasons. They were just trying to make things more user friendly for the end-user, but didn't fully consider the security implications. I'm assuming they haven't had to deal with hackers as much as I have, because otherwise, they wouldn't have done that.

Matt apologies if I inferred this was about AirBitz, that wasn't my intention, the scenario I was reading about could be done with any "wallet", pre-paid card or even a bank account.
