Indeed - but one might well lead to the other:

Current opinion polling in Scotland is around 65/28 to remain IN the EU whereas in England it is very much closer and at least one poll has shown a small lead for OUT - and we currently have no date for the EU referendum, so Cameron will be a hostage to events.

In what we are continually told is a "Union of four equal nations", it would be intolerable if the larger of the "equal nations" were to tear the others out of the EU against the will of their peoples. Some might say the reverse would also be true but numerically that just isn't feasible.

can hardly wait for England to leave the EU, will no longer have to cross subsidize half the world. ...and that includes thew scottish. Naturally the scots would still be welcome to work in England as cheap labour like the East Europeans. Win win. To this day I have no idea why such an effort was made to hold onto those skirt wearers...like who needs debt....and shitty food...and the noise!!
