Am being hounded with a boy messaging me that he has Cavity's and has to go to the dentist ...4000 Bht is being hinted at ...lol
I understand the Thais can get some sort of cheap hospital cover, but does it include Dentistry anyone know ?

I could be wrong, but as far as I'm aware, no, the 30 baht scheme doesn't cover dental. I'm assuming you're talking about someone in Pattaya / Bangkok though? The 30 baht scheme is only available within the province where you're registered at a house. If he's a money boy who moved to Pattaya / Bangkok, good chance he's still registered to his parents house in whatever province, and is only eligible for the 30 baht scheme in that province. Meaning he'd have to take time off work, and travel back home to get the 30 baht medical care.

Nonetheless, 4000 baht for fillings is a little expensive, yeah. Then again, could be just simple language barrier. If he's getting crowns, braces, or something like that, then 4000 baht is easily done.

I expect i will end up sending the cash in the end .. ... LOL
