Don't forget a place for Scientology.

Or those god damn Mormons I see wandering around. Geez, they piss me off. I've told a few of them off over the years here. It's a Buddhist society, so accept that little fact instead of wandering around offering everyone free English lessons with hopes of converting them.

Interesting Mat in 12 years living in Pattaya I can't recall seeing one of them.

They're all over the place here. They even setup a college / university for themselves.

You can spot them a mile off. All dressed up in their navy blue khakis, with their tucked in white dress shirts.

They tried offering to "help" me a couple times. Didn't work so well for them.

hehe, thinking about that, it's true, isn't it? You don't see any 50yo overweight mormons wandering around.

No, they're all in their 20s, with their nice navy khakis, showing their asses off like all-stars.

.
Still don't like them though;

At this moment either church would have a multitude of vacant spaces to occupy and I suspect the amount of empty space will continue to grow.

I have a standing offer for Mormons whenever they encounter me. I say to the less attractive one "You can read to us from the Book of Mormon while your colleague sucks my cock". They generally scuttle away PDQ

Is khaki a color or a style?
It has been used as a color name in English since 1848 when it was first introduced as a military uniform (see below), and was called both drab and khaki - khaki being a translation of the English drab light-brown color. In Western fashion, it is a standard color for smart casual dress trousers for civilians.

I guess you must not use the term "khakis" in Europe? It's somewhat in between informal and formal dress. Looks good, but isn't quite formal -- somethng that's fine for a standard 9-5 job at an office, but not good enough if you're walking into a board room meeting in Singapore, for example.

Just a little badinage regarding use of navy blue coupled with khaki. Somewhat of an oxymoron or is it oxymormon? ;)

While on subject of Mormons, there is an excellent gay themed film, Latter Days which is worth watching. Here is a clip.

Correct. They have a Mormon University somewhere in Bangkok which surely is an oxymormon.
They've also decided to "double task" their tied and collared young mules; if you don't like their verbal tripe you can buy from a range of health products and creams. Carpetbagging scallywags with smiles.
I'll take a body lotion demonstration massage if the right one in the mulepack offers it though.

Yeah, they have a Mormon University up here in Khon Kaen as well.

Thankfully, Khon Kaen also hosts the largest actual university in the region. It's huge -- I think 24,000 students or something. And thankfully, most university students are both, poor and extremely good looking. Bodes well for a guy like me.

Hunting them down is a bit of a pain in the ass though. Bit easier just going to a go-go bar and waving over the one you like, but nonetheless, I actually like this route a little better. Have to work for it. :)

The largest university in the northeast is in Maha Sarakham (province east of Kaen; two years ago I didn't even now Maha Sarakham province exists, now I have at least driven through it once on a bus).

Hey Christian, you know Thai better than I do. Do you know what р╕гр╕╕р╕Б means? When I look it up, I get this;

http://thai-language.com/id/7441

That's not right though. I've gotten it several times now. We say hi to each other, I ask what they're looking for, and they say they're searching for р╕гр╕╕р╕Б. Best I can figure is it's a polite way of telling me to fuck off, but that doesn't really make sense, as they keep messaging me afterwards. They're not looking for a fight, I know that. It has to be slang of some kind.

р╕гр╕╕р╕Б r├║k is "top" when fucking, and р╕гр╕▒р╕Ъ r├бp is "bottom" when fucking. These meanings are not in the dictionary:

р╕гр╕╕р╕Б r├║k [to] attack ; invade ; advance into
http://www.thai2english.com/dictionary/1392392.html

р╕гр╕▒р╕Ъ r├бp [to] receive ; get ; accept
http://www.thai2english.com/dictionary/1391045.html

we had these before:

Didn't know that the fraudster founder of the moran mormons has spawned a " university" in Khon Kaen through his present-day carpetbaggers.

Khon Kaen University proper has gained a good reprutation internationally for research in agriculture and insect-based protien additives among other important research domains.
Though the students may be smart that doesn't mean that they ain't cute!
Good luck.

I just did a Google search on it myself, and couldn't find it either. My apologies, and maybe "university" was the wrong word, but they do have a good sized building here with one of those large signs out front that clearly states "Mormon".

I don't know, I've just passed by it many times. Never actually took the time to go in, and get the official tour. :) I'm assuming it's where they take everyone for their free English classes they so adamantly offer.

It's probably a Mission..... not a university. More like a dormitory residence. Not necessarily open to the public.

But I do agree..... a Mormon Mission is definitely needed in Sunnee Plaza. So many sinners to save..... and those cute young boy Mormons would be eaten alive. =P~

We should all start a petition campaign to the Mormon Church to request a Mormon Mission be established in Sunnee Plaza..... Maybe right where Krazy Dragon used to be....?

( at least Sunnee Plaza would get a little foot traffic )
