I am sorry to report that Wayne Beard passed away this Saturday morning August 22, 2015 at 7:20 A.M. Thailand time.
He was rushed to the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya from the Namthip Nursing Home where had been convalescing from recent hospitalization.
Services are pending.
Wayne lived in Center Condo in South Pattaya and was a long time friend of the late Gay Pattayan Dr. Allen Briggs.
A friend of his commented on Facebook:
"So many of us were helped by Wayne during our times of need. I could always count on Wayne.
He was a generous man and loyal to his friends. Wayne was a true adventurer who lived life with gusto.
He was never one to hold a grudge, never staying mad for long.
He always had a live and let live attitude.
Wayne was fearless. I loved his pioneering spirit. Always wanting to know what was over the next hill.
Always looking to find the next best restaurant.
Whenever I would complain, he was fond of saying, "You gotta be tough to live in the old west."
He was a tough old bear with a heart of gold. God help you if you tried to hurt one of his friends or speak ill of them.
He will be missed, but never forgotten. I will sorely miss the big guy...My lifelong buddy and pal.
See you on the flipside pal. I'm sure you'll be their waiting for me in your pickup truck, ready to take me on yet another adventure".
With love & deep sadness,
John
RIP Wayne
