Yes, acceptable if you asked the go-go to sit with you and ordered a drink for him, if he does not object. As for a tip, 100 Baht min just to sit with you and up depending on the extent of groping. Groping in some clubs is the norm, such as Eros in Pattaya while other clubs are more conservative.

Some farang however are outrageous in their behavior; as soon as a go-go sits with them they have their hand down his pants and their tongue down his throat! :ymsick:

Other bars expect more decorum.

I don't think anyone said anything about what you should be expected to tip, rather what they personally prefer tipping. If you prefer tipping less based on the fact that Thailand is a shit poor country, then by-all-means, tip less. To clarify the 20 Baht tip. The boy is on stage, ask him if you can put the money in his pants. He will happily agree. Your grope lasts as long as it takes to put the money there, about 2-3 seconds. I usually do it on the way out and if you then pass a row of boys it would be very unusual for at least some of them to request the same.
