New Bar in Siem Reap and it sizzles

Several friends who had been to Vietnam and were disappointed ,visited Siem Reap and found a new bar . They thought it excellent.
I have never heard of Bar code so went to Nicky's and found this link . Great looking bar and sauna and close to Pub Street [see second link]

Looks interesting. Will visit Cambodia and Siem Reap next year so I hope it will still be open .

Hi,
I went a few times earlier this year and it's a nice place. Just off the riverside and seems to be a vanity protect for the french owner.
The bar is quite stylish and has a garden area and pleasant staff. They've tried to do a Bali style on off cabaret from 9-12 but it was pretty amateur, maybe it's improved by now.
One thing I did notice was that compared to old linga (now Angkor famous) and station there weren't many locals unless they came already attached.

yes, great bar, i was there everynight during my June holiday. Pacual the owner is a great laugh and freindly too,
The show is on all night and the young DJ is sexy.
Looking foward going back next year too. Also when i was there, the wine bar closed for refurb

And what about another bar - Chillax - which is said to be now open after many months of mystery (sign was there, boys were sometimes hanging out but bar not yet open). It is in the same street as Blue Hatha Spa, close to the former Eight Rooms Hotel). Did you get there ?

I haven't been to Station since it was done but talking to one of the guys who work there apparently they have improved the air-con, redone the stage area and the toilets and freshened up the decor.

Nice avatar IIz. At first notice I thought it was a rendering of the newly-discovered 'Gravity Waves' which were predicted within Einstein's general relativity theory. However, on deeper peering, it turns out to be a group of very nice bubble butts lined up in a kind of wave motion.
