Hi you maniacs.

WellтАжIтАЩm back from another 3 month adventure and going through that routine transition again тАУ from a free-spirited - fun-loving gay man back to a regimented and str8 acting business geek. Driving on the right side of the road and not pinching restaurant waiters on the ass are usually the most challenging tasks during this transition but I usually adapt after a day or two.

Why I bring my anal douche back with me from these trips is beyond me especially when IтАЩm primarily a top and the only thing IтАЩm going to have slide up my ass here on home soil is an occasional Chiquita banana. I guess the sight of it perched on the top of the printer in my home office creates a sense of pleasant nostalgiaтАжwho knows.

I did in fact play the bottom role a bit more during this past holiday than in the past which was actually quite a thrill. Most of my interactions were with тАЬbottomsтАЭ but I had one guy who I came to adore who is a dedicated top and can rock the world with those motorized hips of his. Strangely enough I found myself enjoying the bottom role more and more as our interactions continued. I guess IтАЩm getting older. I can enjoy being on top once a day versus two or three times a day as in days gone by and then either need the assistance of Viagra or do the next best thing, and thatтАЩs roll over. Actually rolling over is not that bad. It beats the alternative of having your limp cock inside of your partner and pumping like a mad man only to have your limp cock lodged inside his anus going nowhere. IтАЩve had this happen a few times and you sound like the stud of the yearтАж.тАЭslapтАжslapтАжslapтАжsla pтАЭтАжas your partner turns his head and looks at you as if to say тАЬwhen do you plan on startingтАЭ.

Unlike my 2 previous holidays where I lodged full-time with a guy I met on Gay Romeo тАУ this holiday was spent totally submersed in Butterflyism and it was great. The scene, as you are all aware, is a bit depressing with the lack of customers, but all-in-all I was able to have a great time and there is certainly an abundance of smiling faces everywhere. I spent very little time in the gogo bars but thought that Sunny boys in Sunee Plaza was the best of the bunch. Lots of cute guysтАжfriendly waitersтАжand great ambience. Jomtien Complex was busier than both Sunee and Boyztown although the majority of guys working the bars were Cambodian or Laotian which doesnтАЩt really rock my world.

I dedicated the first few weeks of my holiday to completing the work on my condo in Bang Saray. It is now finished and completely furnished with the exception of the AC and washing machine which wonтАЩt be installed until later when I decide to start living there. I have also decided to keep my apartment in S. Pattaya indefinitely because it is cheap and I just love being there. I can imagine myself toggling between the two places as time moves forward providing time in Pattaya for the fun night life тАУ with random breaks to Bang Saray for the peace and tranquility.

There seems to be a great trend developing regarding the staff at both 7/11тАЩs and Family Marts as there are more cute gay guys being hired to work in these places than IтАЩve ever seen before. Some seem eager to interact with farang and others donтАЩt тАУ but nonetheless it provides a much more fun shopping experience.

My partner from the two previous holidays is now employed as a fashion designer, teacher and dress maker at a large clothing shop near his home in Buriram. I had the option of spending this past holiday up there with him watching him sew тАУ or not. I decided on the later. After spending half of my time spanning eight years up in Isaan with Thep I really wasnтАЩt interested in a repeat. I actually enjoy short Isaan visits (with the right guy) but anything more than 3 days is not in the cards. I cancelled plans I had to visit Uttaradit (North Central LOS) during the Songkran period primarily because of the excruciating heat and humidity. This was the hottest holiday season I can remember and hiking around in that heat with my backpack was also not in the cards for this trip.

I spend the last 3 nights in Bangkok which is a new twist for me. I hooked up with a Vietnamese guy I met during a previous holiday who works at a beer bar on Soi Twilight and spent the first night at the Tarntewan Place Hotel enjoying his company. I spent the last 2 nights spoiling myself at the Mandarin Hotel with a guy from BKK who I met on Gay Romeo earlier during the year. He is a wonderful guy (all bottom)тАжand we kept room service busy for the entire duration. A must repeat for next holiday.

All-in-all, a great time. A few new friendsтАжintermittent twinges of delusional love and romance (a must)тАжand I finally sacked the ice cream vendor at Jomtiem Beach. It doesnтАЩt get much better than that.

Cheers

General Informational Nonsense:

FBAR (Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts)
Any Americans out there who have over $10,000 in a Thai bank account should start reporting this to the IRS (if youтАЩre not already) because they are starting to sound serious about applying penalties to those who donтАЩt. You need to complete a Form called FinCen 114 and can do this online which is only available through the BSA E-Filing System website. You must file if you are a U.S. citizen with a financial interest in or a signature authority over at least one financial account located outside the U.S., and the aggregate value of all foreign financial accounts exceeded $10,000 at any time during the calendar year reported. The deadline for reporting is the end of June each year. Banks world-wide must also start reporting any American account holders who have accounts which exceed $50,000. The form is easy to complete and you will receive an immediate e:mail response acknowledging their receipt.
