"Dirty" Weekend on the Way to Thailand

Hi All
Just booking up my next trip to LOS and I am thinking of stopping off for a "dirty" weekend in one of the main Asian capitals along the way..
Using the likes of Momondo.com with their multi destination flight searcher - its very easy to pick a different departure airport to the one you arrived... and then use a low cost carrier to jump between the Asian capitals...

I have already ruled out Tokyo, Taipei and Shanghai - both of which i have visited before, purely down to price and additional flying time

So that leaves my main options being: Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore - all of which i have been to at least 2 times before...
But i am torn!

KL is more downmarket, the gay scene is not great and has the well documented police anti-gay issues... but on the other hand it has loads of slutty Malay and Chinese-Malaysian guys all up for fun... and a lively sauna scene... A lot of the boys are smokers which is a negaive for me

HK, is more upmarket, the hotels are expensive, the bars ae more expensive, there is a great sauna scene (also expensive) - but they have the best looking guys (in my opinion)... although they are not quite as easy to pull as malaysians

Singapore - again as expensive as HK, another lively sauna scene - and have had some of the best sex of my life there... but i can't help but feel from previous visits that GWM are not as welcome as in KL or HK

Which city would you choose? and Why?
Or would you just prefer to get to BKK early and have you Dirty weekend there? (thats easier if U don't have a Thai BF!)

Grab a guy from one of the gay bars on Friday night -plenty to hot guys to choose from - and take him back to your hotel - the Villa Angelo, of course. It's a clothing optional, men only gay hotel.

I did consider Bali, but that 16 hour flight from AMS to Denpasar is just too long to contemplate!
I have just over 2 weeks for teh holiday, so really loking for someplace that is in almost touching distance of Bkk... as I don't want to waste days travelling around etc

I have used a GPS faker app to move my "gay app" profiles around HK, SIN and KL - and definitely getting more interest from the KL boys... so i think that might be the place to go!
One thing i like about the apps in KL - is that the Money Boys are quite clear in their profiles that they are MBs, and similarly for the non-MBs... make it easier to know if the boyis in it for your looks or your money!

Finally decided on KL and stopping there for 3 mights on teh way to Thailand
Have used a GPS faker app to move my profile on some phone apps to KL and getting a hell of a lot of propositions!

Seems like the Malaysian boys are a lot kinkier than their Thai neighbours... and a lot more forward about it... and willing to share pics of their exploits!

Unfortunately it also seems that every 2nd guy wants raw/BB sex or high/Chem sex..
Anyway i am sure i will weed out the wheat from the chaff before i get there

Anyone any opinion on the Capitol in Bukit Bintang (where i have stayed twice before) Versus the Furama?
Or any other gay friendly hotels to recommend?

@ Colmx - did you get any answers or make any decision between those two hotels you mentioned as I too have this morning have decided to head off too and so have just booked 3 nights in KL for the start of my July trip to Bali, Bkk and Pattaya ( just for a change lol) and I was about to just hit book on the Capitol site there as usual but thought I'd wait to hear any replies to your query - likewise does any one have any other recommendations in that Capitol area as that is where all the action is of course.

I stayed at the Capitol last trip and found the wifi useless. Lots of guests were sitting in the lobby with their iPads /notebooks, as that is the only place you get a bit of a signal.

Other than that, it was fine.

The Furama is not well located compared to the Capitol where I usually stay in KL. The Capitol is very easy to get to for your visitors which is also a very important factor. The IT mall next to the Capitol is worth a visit, some of the hottest twinks in KL work there and some are on the apps. I might try the Izumi hotel near the Capitol on a future visit, it gets great reports and is also in a convenient location. I am staying at the Metro hotel across from Times Square next month for a change, has good reviews and about 1/3 less room prices than the Capitol.

I had a chance with a Muslim guy but decided against it. He fucked me on the sauna instead. Lol

Thanks for that Aussie, I actually had a quick look on google maps and and had reached that very same conclusion and your very valid point about it being close and easy for guys to be able to find me just swung it so bugger it after all my thoughts as bloody usual I just went to the same place as before "because I know it and I'm lazy", so deluxe corner room now book in the Capitol and i'm just praying the wifi IS better than it was the last time as I too remember "issues" - but I also remember no issue getting laid there ( a lot) so whatever the wifi issues they mustn't have slowed me down too much the last time so I'm sure I'll manage this time too ! :-)

Actually the last time I stayed there I'd the weird experience of a helicopter hoovering right outside my window for ages, which considering I was bollock naked as was the local guy with me and the curtains were open I wondered just what sort of peeping toms or secret police that they have here that they actually use helicopters to spy on hotel guests ! But it turns out it was at the time of the election rallies / riots and there was a full scale protest / semi riot going on just up the street from the hotel and the helicopter had been tasked to watch what was going on.......so theres me, naked and fucking and oblivious and all complete with riots and helicopters all round.....somehow coming from Belfast I felt right at home ! lol
