Vietnamese gay guides and hotels

I am planning a trip to Vietnam soon and would appreciate any help/advice on a couple of things.

Reccommendations on hotels in Hanoi and Saigon. Budget is around 800 to 1500 baht per night, maybe a bit higher for something really special, looking for clean accomodation with aircon, and nice bathrooms would be a bonus. and as hassle free as possible for joiners.

In addition, would like to find a good gay guide in each city.
