Is Koh Lipe the new gay location Great beaches

I was asked to join a group to visit Koh Lipe the new gay beach location. First I will be in the UK at the time and second I had not heard of it,

I asked for details and got this message which includes a map. Looks great, not sure if it is for me. I would however be interested at the age groups and what boys are available.

Hi,
I think this report is a bit optimistic, Lipe is tiny, really tiny and now covered in hotels and GHs. It's packed with young european breeders most of the year and noisy at night from the bars. It can be fun of course but it's a long way to go for a hit and miss experience. Pretty essential to take a friend with you in my opinion unless you're well under 30. Mellow Mango is a great place though, not often you can drink in a bar run by God.

New gay location? From what I saw and read seems like a honeymoon place for farang gay couples the only Thais I noticed were the two woman working in a restaurant. lonely I believe your reaching again.

Though Lonley has never been to Koh Lipe, I have been four times and really like the place much more than other islands I've been to. I have never noticed any possible boy action but, then, I was not looking for it since my husband was with me. This Island is clean with lots of really fine beaches. Mountain Resort has a nice cove with beautiful sand and clean water. The bar at this place is somewhere around pathetic but there is a nice little bar down the road on the way back to Walking Street. No name on the place but you can't miss it on the right side of the road. Walking street has many restaurants and my favorite is La Luna and they serve some good Italian there. Unfortunately the island is dead during the summer months.

It is good to know that MFOS has actually been there, His short reply could have been more interesting. Did you actually go?
