He did something to piss them off. It's Thailand -- you don't bring bike helmets to a fight. Whatever happened, happened during that few minutes. It wasn't planned.

WHATEVER happened now there's a man who should be either watching his back for the next few days, weeks or months and or going out and buying lots of bottles of whiskey for the right people to ensure that he doesn't have to as needless to say Face has been lost and that won't be forgotten in a hurry if ever - watch this space I'm guessing !

Catscat: The story's not about a girlie bar. It's about an alleged crime. If it turns out that this guys version of events is correct then it's a story that concerns everyone. However the post clearly upsets you so perhaps stop reading it. Just a suggestion.

the honda pcx 150 is an auto transmission scooter, hardly a hot bike for a gang youth.
it does not make tight turns and its small wheels are a disadvantage on broken country
roads. the current popular youth bikes are the mini-sport 125s from kawasaki and honda
(and for those with alot more baht, the CBR models).

i have been attacked a few times in my life by boy(s). they always had cheap knives
or at least a sturdy bat-like piece of wood.

i'd say the initial altercation was between the bar owner or at least his staff and
one or more members of a gang. the later street assault with not planned, just an
impulsive reaction to an earlier insult/putdown.
