I will update as time passes. Got to soi twilight about midnight. Had a couple of beers outside. Less than 25 non Asians noted, even when the clubs let out. Was tempted with a 38 year old bartender, who I thought was about 26. but was too tired from the trip.

And to lighten the mood and keep you-know-who happy, do also write about your visits to palaces, temples, museums and art galleries. Throw in some trip reports on your mountain trekking, canoeing, sky-diving, jet-skiing, bungee jumping, golfing, (on second thoughts, scrub that last one, we do have some standards on the forum) snorkelling, diving, island hoping and other popular tourist activities.

All I can say to that is that the rumours of my demise have been GREATLY exaggerated :-).

No kids, no dogs and absolutely no behaving myself ! There's a world of difference between a tactical reduction in foreign Asian fucks to help sustain an ongoing supply of quality local Asian fuck, but let me assure you that one of those things most certainly does not negate the need or want for the other and local fucks aside I am happy to report I still enjoying keeping my end up on a regular basis so to speak.

But I have to admit not being in Bangkok this weekend for songkran ( albeit that was a work lead decision not boy lead) IS killing me as I'm seeing my various friends Facebook partying pics all starting to download already :-(

Second night---took the grand tour. Telephone, the Super A and Golden Cock. Tempted with one at Super A. Dream boys, x-size, and one other place in Soi Twilight. Dream Boys was best. Ended up with a boy from an outside bar from Vietnam. I would not off him again, but wow was he cute.


Off to Pattaya. Stopped in Boystown. Wild West Boys should change the name to Wild West Girls. BBB absolutely dominates that market. Great show, something for everybody. At Panorama late, met a guy off Grindr who it turned out was sitting just behind me. He bought me a drink. We talked for nearly two hours. He was employed, great English, and just my type. Jackpot!! We parted at 4:00 PM the next day. :-)

Sunee Plaza last night for the first time ever. Four gogo places. Power Boys has queeney boys but the mamasans (and I unfortunately mean plural) will drive you nuts. Eros was as advertised (loose-fitting [ahem] shorts) and fun for me. I already have my choice there for next time. Sunny Boys had a quite feminine group also. Krazy Dragon still has the 40 baht drinks.

I am struggling with the heat and jet lag and may not go to Siem Reap after all. One outdoor bar advertised a sex show---no mention of performer's ages. Too many rough types outside the bar so I did not yield to temptation. The place seems to have been cleaned up. There were many more establishments than I expected---I do not see how they will all survive.

Went out in Jometien plaza later on. As others have said. just beer bars, with one show bar. I have an amazing talent for having the most flaming queen attach herself to me in the beginning. You hate to be rude, but....

Met a nice enough boy from Phnom Penh who I could probably take to Cambodia but language problems would be fearsome. Mr Jackpot has a real job and can not travel at the drop of a hat.

The "show" at one of the beer bars I mentioned earlier is adult-staffed but still too much rough-trade for me.

Same guy from Sunee and Mr. Jackpot. Mr. Jackpot took me to Sansuk Sauna; a nice place...As I said, I have met some good ones, and have stuck with them. Sorry for the lack of thrills. I stayed at a couple of guest houses in Jomtien, Switched to Ganymede and the extra money was cash well spent. I think it will always be "gayish" and I will probably stay there next time.

Well, I am back, safe and sound. I have already made some decisions about next time:

1. Avoid Delta 747s if at all possible.
2. Avoid Bangkok altogether and go straight to Pattaya. If I come via the Pacific and arrive late, just take a cab to Pattaya. I went by car from Pattaya to the airport this time and it was money well spent. 1300 baht and it took about 1:25. I left at 3:30 am to catch a 7:00 am flight.
3. GayRomeo could always influence going straight to Pattaya :p
4. If Delta gets too expensive, I will investigate Etihad or one of the other Mideast airlines. Their arrival times in Thailand are far more convenient.

Next time could be over New Years if the airfares do not get silly.
