Baan Dok Mai ?

Has anyone stayed at the Ban Dok Mai lately ?
Just wondering if the Thai Kari-Oke across the road is still thumping it out until 6 in the morning, before I book it .. :-?

Ban Dok Mai was sold recently. The now ex-owner bought Colonial boy bar, Sunee Plaza. No idea if new owner of
Ban Dok Mai gay.

I thought Baan Dok Mai was over rated anyhow. Warwick is a lovely guy, but everything was worn out in the rooms.
The shower kept blowing it's fuse and the night time entrance creates a really cheap first impression for any visitors.
Something like the Flamingo is a much better bet.

I have not been in the Flamingo for several years...
However for many years before my retirement, it was my home when in Pattaya.
Great location...and ask for the regular end room on each floor..it is larger due to the angle of the wall.
I would not hesitate to go back...location...location...location.

Behind TukCom...same street as Mosaic Apartments...
one street West of BaanDokMai.
across/opposite from Mosaic & Grottino's Cafe.

I walked pass the Baan Dok Mai Guesthouse behind TukCom...today Monday August 3rd
It was CLOSED and NO signage as to why.
All doors pulled down...except entry to go upstairs.
