From time to time I go on day trips with ChristianPFC. By doing so I get to see places of interest that I wouldnтАЩt normally see on my own. As most members will already know, Christian has a wealth of knowledge of all things Thai, is well travelled throughout Thailand and speaks and reads Thai. All of which is of considerable advantage to us on our travels.

On 24 February 2015 we met at my apartment in Sathorn, Bangkok then walked to the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) station at Sathorn, a few hundred meters from my apartment building. We caught the bus, at the unquestionably good value of 5 baht, and headed for Wat Pariwat getting off at the BRT station of the same name. Whilst there we also visited the Buddha Dharma Relics Museum.

Full details of our trip, with excellent photos, can be found on ChristianтАЩs blog at: http://www.christianpfc.blogspot.com/20 ... ybean.html (http://www.christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/03/quickie-with-jellybean.html)

I am glad CPFC keeps his blog. While his very accurate expense reports were entertaining - not less accurate and detailed reports about points of interest in Thailand are unique and very helpful. Only hope he continues regular updates. I am sure many readers really appreciate them.

Lucky you Jellybean!

For those of you regular readers of Christian's blog you'll know that Christian has been suffering from a little blogging fatigue and will be taking a break for awhile.

Let's hope his inspiration and energy return quickly!
