View Full Version : Nice Boys Sunee?

Just wondering if anyone had an update on Nice Boys - Sunee.
Had a nice friend last year named "Ton" from Chiang Mai.
Messed up my departure date last vacation and had to take off for the airport
a day earlier than I had originally thought, actually in the middle of the night
three hours before the plane departed.
Unfortunately also had left exchanging contact info for what
I thought was my last night in Pattaya, so it's been a long year.
He is of medium to shorter stature with a smaller buddah tattoo
and prayer on his upper back, deep voice and perhaps deeper "package"
if one was so inclined.
Last year he was going back to CM for his birthday in March and
armed forces lottery so I am guessing he could be anywhere by now.
If you know him tell him a friend was asking and will return with
gift in late March.
Had tried to send a postcard from USA but I am
guessing the postman in TH just threw it away - as I couldn't get a full
address for NIce Boys. Should have had someone from
the hotel run a note up to him to let him know.

Surprised the post card didn't work, it sounded foolproof.
It seems to me that there's been a big turnover in Sunee boy bars and lots of familiar faces absent.
I've heard many had to leave the bar beers due to lack of offs and not being able to pay their rent or send money home.
Also lots of non-Thais have filled the void and maybe the majority now.
Still, the postcard usually works like a charm.

Agree a postcard is mostly foolproof but better a sealed envelope with $100 USD would guarantee it would reach him. :p

rather inadequate address as in no house number:
Pattaya Sai 2 Soi 17, Na Kluea, Banglamung Chonburi 20150 THAILAND

http://thailand.world-gay-guide.com/en/pc/detail/index.php?rainbow_no=252

even tried zooming in pictures and street maps
to try and see the number above the door

http://www.soidb.com/pattaya/nightspot/nice-boys.html

and on the other forum:
http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/9492-nice-boys-bar/

he had mentioned he had a 42 yo brother in Chiang Mai that had a gym
but I can't see myself searching Chiang Mai with much success.
probably just a story

The OP's mistake was in using the normal postal services.

I recently sent a postcard to Vietnam via DHL. They picked it up from my own home on Wednesday 4pm and it was in HCMC (via Leipzig!) by Friday afternoon.

So, send all your postcards by DHL is my advice. At only ┬г46, it's a genuine bargain.

:))

Now that is a wind up isnt it???

Windup?
It's well know that a sure fire way to find a boy working in a bar is to send a postcard to
the bar. An envelop with money is even better and Francois knows it rarely fails.
The DHL method was hush hush but now that it's out in the public, everyone will use it.

I am sure Scottish reserves DHL delivery to boys
with 10+ inches...

You are SERIOUSLY suggesting the original poster sends 100$ to a Gogo bar (whose address he doesnt really know) so that it might reach and I quote..

egel, I think you are missing the humor of sending a post card to a bar in hope of finding a long lost boy. I even doubt that the OP was doing anything other than "wind up" the member herein.

But, in the good old days before cell phones, email, facebook, etc, we fools did send FAX messages to the owners of bars professing our love and devotion to their bar boys. Just what the bar owner didn't want, some farang trying to permanently off their best boys ! Guess what happened to those FAX messages? :))

Damn, I already sent the $100 bill looking for Lek. I taped it on the outside of the envelope.
Egel, don't believe Francois, there is an Easter bunny and the tooth fairy lives.
Big Foot posts here or was that Big Gut. 8-}

All because I was too bashful to phone LCR and ask a waiter to drop a note
at Nice Boys last year- like they didn't know what type of bar I had met him at...
also had no way to tip the now gone waiter being already back in the USA.

Doesn't look like anyone from the board is vacationing in Pattaya right now.

Well maybe if someone is in the area walking past
perhaps they might inquire to the ones always hanging around outside
if the aforementioned Ton from Chiang Mai had even returned.

I had told him the time of year I always vacation
but maybe he was a little off-put when I didn't show up
on what I had thought was my last night last year.
He did know I wasn't positively sure what night was to be
my last, but may have interpreted it elseways (cheap ass heartless farang).
It certainly wasn't my intention to cheap out on a big final night tip.

Gees, I hadn't even gotten to take a picture to remember him by, sigh.
But if he hasn't returned I will be able to get over it before I
begin this years vacation in a few short weeks.

I did today.
And to make sure I am not fooled again send $100 to my Western Union account for the answer.
PM for details.

The cold reality of looking for a bar boy after months or longer, is it behooves the bar not to tell the customer and hope
he will take one of the boys currently there. The only chance is if a boy working there is a friend of the missing boy.
If the boy is working in another bar, it only helps the competition and its all about business and money, not about
helping the lovelorn. Always exceptions of course

What do you mean "and perhaps a deeper "package"?"
Didn't you check?
Unfortunately there are many "Tons" in Thailand and in Chiang Mai with and without tatoos.
Relax, forget about him, play the field and you're sure to see him on the soi with a a farang.

for people with poor reading comprehension,
I was asking if anyone had visited Nice Boys recently
knew about "Ton from Chiang Mai", who was
working there a year ago

How many "Ton from Chiang Mai" could there possibly be
currently or formerly working in Nice Boys?

Not newbie info everyone already knows.
Not if they would know or tell where he is currently working.
If he is there - or not. Simple enough?

Having read this post I decided to visit Nice Boys and find out what I could.
I got there at 2am tonight just when the staff members were leaving.
I spoke to the nice manager who's a little pungpui but is one of the few in Sunnee that I trust.
I explained that a customer had posted that he wished to make contact with a boy called Ton, from Chiang Mai with a Buddha tatoo and possibly a Buddha prayer on his back.
He told me that a pale coloured boy called Ton from Chiang Mai works in the bar BUT has no tatoos.

So there you have the latest from the mamassan' s mouth.

thanks lots for your
kind inquiry, sir

5 more long weeks until
I can check for myself.

mamasan might easily miss or forget a small tattoo
or could be someone else. And he could easily
leave between now and then anyway.
yes light skin and not really mongoloid looking,
could easily pass for a caucasian.
(if it's even the same boy, but one heck of a coincidence)

of course I know he's just a gogo boy
and only interested in money, but i really wanted to treat
him better than it turned out.
Better start shopping for a gift just in case.

Go go boys are fine by me. It's the "I don't want your money" boys that take you for everything.
I will call to the bar soon and try to interview this khun Ton and I will report here.

"Just a gogo boy"
Does it really matter? He is someone who left you touched in some way - so that you spend time and effort to find him. Yes - some are manipulative, cheating etc etc. So are some of us. But not all. Give it a chance if you feel it is worth it.

Att dab69.
Went to nice boys tonight at 08.30pm.
Asked one of the boys about Ton from Chiang Mai.
He told me that he still works there, he confirmed that he comes from Chiang Mai and that he has a small Buddha tattoo on his back but that he would come to work at 10 pm.
Too long for me to wait but it looks hopeful.
Will keep you posted.
bye.

wow thanks ever so much.
He used to come in at 9:00 pm
and now it's 10:00, for some reason.
Must be nice to set your own hours.
Four or five hours would be such a long night
until 1:00 closing. (joking)

anyway I could see myself coming in early
and leaving disappointed, not seeing him and not saying a thing.

I shall put the time to good use
and check out Sunny Boys O:-)

it's a shame you didn't stay around to check him out.
I think he could easily pass for Italian.
Hopefully he won't travel home before I arrive -
end of March
