My sweet said this to me last night, after a bout of boozing, and sooner or later having somehow made it upstairs to the bed: " ... why you not stand up ..."?
I rolled my bloodshot eyes, groaned, mumbled something semi-coherently regarding the notion that I was sixty-fucking-seven years old, and immediately fell asleep.

This morning, looking through ~ with those same bloodshot eyes ~ some of the online newspapers I read most days I stumbled across this nasty little futureism: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/china- ... 2015-02-03 (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/china-airline-wants-passengers-to-stand-for-flight-2015-02-03)

I had previously seen an article (last year sometime) regarding a new concept in airline cattle-herding which showed hundreds of Econs strapped to some poles in the middle of the back section but I shrugged it off as laughable. Hmmmm ... seems to be getting closer.
I wonder what a 12-hour flight would look like? Would anybody actually purchase such an 'improvement' to save a few bucks? :-B
