Well I'm finally in Thailand (smack bang in BoysTown Pattaya). After having a terrible month before coming here (surgery due to workplace injury), Xmas rush, 14+ hour days) I am here - in 'sin city' to celebrate my '** birthday'. It's been 2 years since I was last here, and happy to be in Thailand - Pattaya at the moment and then Chiang Mai. Reading the sawatdee network has been painful waiting for my trip to come, and looking forward to Chaing Mai with the great reports on here.
I flew over with AirAsia in premium class from OOL (Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia) to klia2 then to Don Mueang International Airport. With the recent AirAsia 'accidents' yes I was a bit apprehensive, however being in premium lie flat bed, it was an enjoyable flight - excluding turbulence. Transferring in Klia2 was good and easy. Flight delayed at klia2 cuz no show and they couldn't find luggage in the hull. Arriving at Don Mueang airport I had booked a vip service which included escorting from airport air bridge to taxi service. Cost around $100 but after long flying I thought it was well worth it (I can hear people going the bus, the bus!, cheaper, cheaper!)
As stated above, currently smack bang in middle of BoysTown, which is perfect for my alcoholic needs. With the reports that funny boys had deteriorated with mama Rose leaving and it being my place that caused an issue on another board (sorry thaiworthy from 2013) with me 'pre booking' my regular off, it has defiantly changed - and my pre booked boi was no longer there - long haired mamasan said night off but I'll see what happens tomorrow. Mainly less energy inside - I will be visiting again even if my boi is gone, as still is a great non show bar but I'll be checking the rest out fully to compare (if my liver holds out).

On my last trip I did not venture much out of BoysTown much, so any members want to show me Sunee Plaza I'll happily shout a beer or two.
As my '** birthday (never u mind my age - holidays overseas on birthdays don't count - doofus logic) is approaching if you see a drunk Aussie doofus around the area, call out doofus - u might score a beer out of it - or u might just look like a doofus.

Any suggestions of any bars I should visit at certain times please leave suggestions below.
Bed time for me, going to sleep in hotel, with out aircon on as the weather is cooler than Brisbane atm.
