200 baht for a balcony; perhaps "all you need after a night on the town" includes somewhere to throw up - or as you Australians put it "chunder" - on the passers-by below. I did wonder that if a superior room is actually a standard room with a balcony, what an inferior room consists of. And would it be 300 baht?

From the staff pics I think X and Tam (couldn't X be renamed "Tim" so we've got Tim Tam?) could go onto my To Do list - if latintopxxxxxxx doesn't get to them first. Can't abide sloppy seconds.

The link did not work, but https://ddinn.wordpress.com/photos/staff/ works for me.

I enquired last year about X and was told he left a year before.

I think this picture of staff was posted on gaythailand about two years ago, and there was a large majority saying that X (right in the picture) is the most handsome of the three.

The rooms look spartan for me . There are much better gay frIendly hotels options such as the Copa , Ambience and others in Sunee Plaza .

Spartan is the word but we are talking Jomtien and not Sunee or BT. There are plenty of gay options in Jomtien; Tui's, Room Club, Venue, Poseidon, EastTapas, just to name a few. DD is definitely for the budget traveler and gay men who enjoy the beach are well acquainted with their short time rooms.
