Gay massage- how much you tip ?

This topic has probably been discussed before , but I am in Pattaya now for a while and I would like to know how much you normally tip the boys in massage places here . And without "happy ending" , just a good body massage with cream or oil.

I guess its up to you but would like to know your experiences.
So lets say you pay 400 baht for the 1 hour massage and how much for the boy ?

I have never had a 400B massage... But my general rule of thumb is:
-200B massage, Tip 200 if no sexual connotations whatsoever
-300B massage, Tip 300 if no sexual connotations whatsoever
-Real massage that turned into a happy ending(j/o only) - i usually give them the change from 1000B which i pay the cashier with as a tip (7/800B)
-Real massage that turned into a happy ending(full sex) - I usually pay 1000-1200

I think it's better to pay them daily, even if it's for a week or two. We know that they will get paid but in their minds they are in constant worry over it. That's my observation after eight years of one month vacations.

Don't forget because it's a commercial transaction and they do a great job of the boy friend experience, they are doing it for the money. The worst is what Joe did by not paying and promising to pay in the future. I realise you took care of it Joe, and I did the same thing my first trip to Thailand.

My last trip I bought a guy a phone and stopped paying him the usual 1.500 daily baht. The dynamics had changed from the previous year, when he was staying in Jomtien and would spend the night with me after I had hit the bars and had a short time with a boi of my choosing. This trip he stayed with me in my condo which prevented me from butterflying much. I told him I didn't want a bf and needed some short times with others but he couldn't handle it and would leave for days and pout etc. Anyway, lesson learned the hard way on my part. I think I would have been better off doing the usual fee instead of buying him stuff, as the phone and clothes cost more than if I just paid him.

Sorry, I meant to add, I donтАЩt have a lot of experience of using masseurs in Pattaya, but on the rare occasion that I have, I tipped 1,000 baht for тАШthe full serviceтАЩ. If the experience was particularly good and I thought the masseur deserved a little extra, then I tipped 1,200 тАУ 1,300 baht.

I am however more familiar with massage joints in Bangkok, where I tip 1,000 тАУ 1,500 baht depending on the quality of the service.

For a totally non-sexual experience, I would have thought 200 B quite adequate.
Thais would tip a lot less, I suspect.

I always have full anal sex with a massage...its one of the precondituons. and tip the masseur whatevers left over from a 1000bht bill. I never go for a massage unless I have sex in mind, as I have never been convinced of the benefits, although most people will no doubt have a different opinion.
I must say I enjoy the build up towards sex with the boy being naked and me gradually getting a strong erection.

I see some reports that most massage boys in Pattaya will take part in erotic and sexual body to body massage with customers but my experience is that this will be hit and miss , I never push the boy to do anything they don't want to do. They know the tip will be less with a normal massage and are fine with it. Problem is to find boys that also are good at massage , or the whole experience could be a waste of time.
