This below was in an email about the big storm.
It was a just mentioned in passing. Any more news ?

Brian from colonial has bought out the old guy Brendan n says he has many plans for his bar. Brian says from next week onwards, his accommodation upstairs is completely, booked out for 3 months. He mentioned yensabai will also be completely full as well as two other establishments that he knows. They are all looking forward to a bumper season and new boys are now arriving.

You must be talking about another Sunee plaza, it was and remains one of the most boring bars in Sunee and there is at the moment some stiff competition for that role.

Thanks Brad for providing the necessary absurdist context to this, er, thread.

I'm much less original I'm afraid, given my own reply (now unnecessary) of "What?" and/or "Uh?"

Granted, but I wasn't even born back then. Of late, the UK hasn't produced anything (or anybody, for that matter) worth mentioning.
