Don't be surprised if the editors are required to attend a centre for "re-education."

Don't be surprised if the editors are required to attend a centre for "re-education."The junta will probably set him to work on government-approved soap opera scripts (http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/09/26/uk-thailand-politics-dramas-idUKKCN0HL0PG20140926).

Even though the General is trying for a kinder gentler fascism those students and academics sometimes get in the way of a good dictatorship. Of course it is mostly the Westerners who even care about this as a whole....the average Thai could careless who runs the country and how they run it as long as there is bread and circuses......or is that rice and morlum concerts, lol.
In the USA, they are trying a new soft fascism.....a type of stealth fascism....because we all know what a bad rap communism and socialism has in America, lol.....and so the powers that be are getting more power a new way.....quietly....maybe the General can learn a thing or two....in the USA it's just stepped up a few big notches on the bread and circuses theme.

I don't know an "average Thai"...but do recall thousands of working class families risking their lives (and in one hundred cases) sacrificing them for a fairer society. Here in the UK, the turn-out in elections is usually derisory and the least said about the US's plutocracy the better.
