I ran into one of these devices recently in Istanbul, looking to find a last minute use for my unused тВ║ turkish lira.
I was able to deposit my unused bills into my paypal account.

This would be an ideal device to see in Asian airports, if they make it that far.

Sounds like a great idea for the leftover coins and notes. According to their website
"TravelersBox operates kiosks today at Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya in Turkey. In addition we operate kiosks in Italy and the GB. By end of Q3 TravelersBox will be operating in Brazil, Bangkok, Singapore, India and Georgia and by end of 2014 in addition 6 airports such as Geneva and more."

Great in principle, however their website does not provide sufficient guidance about charges.

1 A fee of 5~15% applies (scale not declared).
2 No information about exchange rates. Do they take 2% or 20% on the exchange rate ?

I hope all this is clear to customers actually at the terminal.
