So, in reading a bit through some posts I am struck by christianpfc's underwear fetish (just to name one it seems he has). In reading here and in his blog the depth of this fetish seems almost beyond measure and includes the exact shades of certain colors which turn him on. I am not picking on him (as it seems he is at peace with his various predilections) but does he or anyone else think this is normal (whatever that is)?
Now I love a good pair of underwear as much as the next person but here is a snippet from a recent post of his in the Golden Cock thread:

"Upon entering, I spotted a boy in underwear, underwear pulled low so you can see the buttcrack. A promising start! But in the end, none of the boys my type. About 12 staff, up to 3 boys in underwear (but not at the same time) and two shirtless (throughout the time) and one underwear and shirt (throughout the time).
To be precise, by "3 boys in underwear" I mean nothing else than underwear. All other boys probably wear underwear, but it's covered."

In just those five sentences there are an amazing 7 references to underwear. Am I missing something here other than obviously not paying attention to boys underwear as much as I should... =))

P.S. Christian if you are around when I am I would be happy to take you for a drink.

IтАЩm afraid, topjohn5, itтАЩs a simple case of, move along, nothing to see here, move along moment.

The idiosyncrasies, fetishes and the little peccadilloes of ChristianPFC have been here for all to see from the day he joined the forum in August 2010. I doubt very much if his underwear fetish comes as any surprise to regular readers.

Now, had you said that those 5 sentences with 7 references to the word тАЬunderwearтАЭ were badly constructed and contained grammatical errors, then that would indeed be controversial and a тАж тАЬWhat? Hold the press!тАЭ moment. =))

I do wish the rest of the world would learn to use the word 'pants' to describe underwear and 'trousers' for outer garments. I think pants sounds so much sexier.

I do believe I have heard that term before from my grandfather. He also used the term drawers and unmentionables as well. I'm sure you couldn't be that old as he has been deceased a long time. So, you must be a sweet elderly British man, right.

What about skivvies arsenal? Now thereтАЩs a word you donтАЩt hear very often these days. Sexy or not? :-B And, perhaps, an alternative word to тАЬunderwearтАЭ?

My father, who served in the Royal Navy during World War II, used to use the word skivvies instead of pants or underwear. Think IтАЩll try using it again with my Thai boyfriend next month and see what reaction I get when I tell him IтАЩve brought a lovely selection of skivvies from England as presents for him. :)

The Thais are peculiar about their underwear. There are bikinis, briefs and boxers in the underwear world and many variations of each. There is also a loose fitting boxer that is more of a sleeping short. Many Thais wear this sleeping short as underwear. Maybe it's for the versatility, because if the need ever comes up to swim...he just gets out of his pants and swims in what he has on. If he sleeps over somewhere, as a lot of the boys do...the short is a sleeper again. Unfortunately because it's so bulky, they need a lot of room...so they wear a loose fitted pair of jeans, that rides low and exposes the loose fitted boxer. I think they don't know how more comfortable they could be, if they just did it a little differently.

Underwear should be fitted, that's where the comfort comes from and so it's equally strange to see Thais down at the beach wearing fitted underwear as bathing suits and having to hold them up after they get wet.

They've been doing this for years. On one of my very first trips to Thailand, I took my boy to a department store to buy him a whole set of "comfortable" cotton briefs. He wore them around the house like he was in a fashion show a few times...perhaps because I bought them for him? But he soon went back to wearing the versatile short. No wonder I see guys with stretch marks at such a young age.

I notice this underwear thing is actually fairly popular on the online sites I still have an active account for. There's actually a local Asian boy here that would totally fit Christian's shamelessmack body type indicator who too has a big fix for underwear. Except this boy's thing is not just having so many, but wanting to get together with you so you can photograph him in them. I'm not sure they'd still be compatible...

The underwear stuff that I find unusual is the used underwear thing. Someone I know, recently retired sells used underwear online through eBay. I'm not even sure if it's him having worn them before or if he gets celebrities or porn stars to take them for a spin? And it gets even more unusual with the ones who seek out the underwear with smells. They have this play space here (I'm not even sure if it's still opened) it's a bathhouse without any water that has guys in smelly undies for...whatever guys in smelly undies do together.

The Thais do look so much better in better underwear. Different colors work best with certain skin types. From the marketing I've seen, it's something the underwear companies are definitely aware of too.

My father, who served in the Royal Navy during World War II, used to use the word skivvies instead of pants or underwear.A skivvy is a slang term for a servant in the UK according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skivvy) and that's certainly how I would use it. In America and Australia it's a garment. I'd use "knickers" for underpants although that's more often I think used for woman's underwear - hence the phrase "Don't get your knickers in a twist (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=don%27t%20get%20your%20knickers%20 in%20a%20twist)".

I actually think of all the underwear words I prefer the word skivvies to others...even to boxers and briefs. As far as underwear goes I dislike boxers greatly as they are just too utilitarian for my tastes. I do like a nice white pair of tight briefs on most young guys and they look extra fine on tanned/brown skin...yummmmm.....Oh, crap I'm starting to sound like Christian @-)

Underwear fetish seems to be pretty mainstream, when you look at gay websites, you see a lot of underwear advertisement, I can't be the only person who has an interest in underwear.

I use "underwear" because it is the most widely understood (knicker, pants, underpants, skivvies might have different meaning to people of different background and age).

Pants? There is a joke: What does a dog do that you can step in? (or similar) It pants!

In the part of Germany where I grew up, we say "Schl├╝pfer" which does not only sound un-erotic, it sounds like something I wouldn't want to touch.

In reading here and in his blog the depth of this fetish seems almost beyond measure and includes the exact shades of certain colors which turn him on.

You are probably referring to this:

My taste is simple, I like underwear in black, white, red, green, blue, orange, violet, indigo, purple, turquoise or mixtures thereof.

but missed the joke.

Absolutely! I love being invited for a drink, place and time of your choice except X-Boys Bangkok (their current underwear style black and white stripes is hideous)

For the record: my favorite style are briefs, next is boxers, some trunks are acceptable. Very important is that no fat is popping out above the waistband.

Here a fine example for a good fit (the underwear is mine, the boy is from Power Boys Pattaya September 2013 ):

No link?

I am just wondering what colors he likes best.
Seems to me some oranges, yellows, pinks, red, and light greens would be a nice
contrast to the beautiful dark Thai skin tone. Perhaps bordered in white? Favorite brands he finds fashionable?
Certainly restricted to briefs, not boxers?

Recently bought some black briefs, and concerned I can no longer
use a Hypochlorite bleach for bacteria. Certainly some additional thoughts are in order, Christian

Nevertheless kommentariat, thatтАЩs the word my father used. I do however recall saying to him something like, тАЬBut Dad, thatтАЩs not the meaning of skivvy.тАЭ And he probably replied along the lines of, тАЬBut thatтАЩs what we called them in the navy.тАЭ He also had a tendency to refer to the floor as тАЬdeckтАЭ as in тАЬPick that up off the deckтАЭ or тАЬClean the deck.тАЭ I suppose old habits die hard.

As my father served out in the Far East, I assume he must have picked up the word тАЬskivviesтАЭ from associating with sailors from the United States and Royal Australian Navies тАж oooh matron! Whatever am I suggesting! LOL!

Yes, Christian, I agree, thereтАЩs nothing wrong with taking an interest in male underwear, but IтАЩm sure most of us are more concerned about what delights are held within the underwear, pants, skivvies - call them what you will. Personally, as long as the underwear is clean, its colour is of no consequence to me. But if asked to express my preference, I would opt for a light colour that sets off the lovely brown skin of Thai lads to its maximum advantage.

I like Thai guys in briefs like those in the photo above, but my main concern is how quickly they can be removed =P~

"Upon entering, I spotted a boy in underwear, underwear pulled low so you can see the buttcrack. A promising start!

That's exactly the right way to dress if trying to impress me too. Should be mandatory.

The close fit in the above photo is also a nice feature.

We must be grateful the obsession with underwear and butt cracks does not extend to Moslem women:
