tips for short time and all night in Bangkok

Could forum members please tell me what is the going rate for tips for short time and all night in Bangkok.
I will go to Bangkok next week. This is about my 10th trip to Bangkok. In the recent past, I have paid 2,000 + for short time, and 3,000 to 4,000 for all night. Some friends tell me that I am too generous. Popular guys from Jupiter and Dream Boys seem to expect at least 2,000 to 2,500 for short time.

Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Soi Twilight ST 1500 / LT 2000, but it's going upwards (2000/2500). Elsewhere (Silom Soi 6, Pradipat) 1000/1500.

Your tipping is very generous. With these numbers, if they ask for more, it's just to see how much more they can get out of you.

No cohort of humans are more susceptible to conditioning than the boys, waiters and mamasans of Go-go-land. Feed them too much and the more they want at the next bell. I don't condone cheapcharlieism but something in between will be more sustainable and more fun for you the customer in this contrived market. Don't tell me about this scene-ask me.

If boys want an extra 1000 Baht for bottoming, and waiters and mamasans ask you for tips, they all think you are a fool and try to milk for as much as possible!

Well if the bar survives on a constant stream of newbie fresh meat tourists, the obvious thing to do is to keep asking them for more money.

Some will be dumb enough to pay & the others might still come back the day after, if the staff recognise the limit of what the punters will pay.

Set a price limit and stick to it. Make it look like you have being going there for years.....

I thought about this subject and came to the following conclusions:

When children grow up, their parents have to set limits, otherwise they become spoiled brats. I know what I'm talking about, when I invited Thai boys to my room and did not set limits, they looted my fridge and ravaged my room and I finally had to kick them out, with difficulty.

If children run along an airplane and make noise and bother other passengers, their parents might find this adorable or cute, but for others it's an annoyance. Dealing with Thai sex workers (and fringe jobs) who have been spoiled by newbie/rich/generous/fool/intimidated is as annoying for those who know local prices and customs as suffering other people's unruly children. You have to set limits.

These limits can be money (I don't pay the prices currently asked for in Soi Twilight) or walk away like I did with the boy whom I hooked up with in DJ station, and who told me that he is a money boy when we were in his room and undressed to our underwear (I didn't even discuss a price, too late) or the boy in Fake disco who asked me to contribute 1000 (!!!) Baht for drinks.

Everybody who pays for services pays because they perceive value in what they get and think the money (whatever amount they pay) is well spent.
As in any other market some segment of demand is price sensitive. I doubt it can set rules for those who are not.

Having said what we've said the prices here for even" long time " wouldn't make a booking deposit in Earl's Court. Ok the scene here and there is not commutative but sometimes a little generosity is called for given the fabulous live animals we lay down with in Thailand at so little real cost.

Even though in the past I have greatly enjoyed gogo bars I must admit that lately the internet and gayromeo have made life easier. Bt the way, living in Bangkok, I've noticed very recently that the "massage" shops offering 24 hour outcall service, have increased their prices quite a bit.... now asking for 3000.... or two of them are even asking for 5000. And my favorite one, tells me they have *no* boys available. All their boys have left to go to Singapore on tourist visas and make *lots* more money there. ( Thanks a lot, ASEAN! ) Apparently, they will be back.... he tells me.... because their visa only allows them to stay for 30 days maybe. But you can be sure they'll become spoiled. I will msg 10, at least 7 will reply within 6 hours...then I choose and keep the others in reserve for another day. Actually most of the "boys"on GR are very reasonable rate wise. They may start with 1500 for short time, and I will reply joking that they are too expensive....that they make more money than me and tyat yesterday I only paid 1000. 8 times out of 10 tyey will reply 1000..ok.
If they stick to their price I kove ion...and quite often later the same day..or the next tyhey will come back...start chatting...and end up at the 1000 mark. I enjoy the chase on the net too. And yes do agree that at times have home delivery where the "boys"are concerned is a bonus.

It is much easier in Pattaya. 90% of the boys on GR are money boys. They can get around the city easily and find your room etc. BKK is harder. The % is much less but still many money boys. BKK is so big that you may start a conversation with someone and when you tell them where your Hotel is they will say so Far. In many cases it can be an hour for them to get to you and they become a lot less interested .

I find Jack'd more useful in BKK because right away you know how close the boy is and if you create a profile in either GR or Jack'd that says money boys are ok , you will have no problem!

Gayromeo has a section for escorts, but most money boys have a normal user profile. It is safe to assume that most boys in Pattaya are moneyboys, in Bangkok not so much.

I am not looking for moneyboys on gayromeo or grindr, for that I go to bars, massage or Saranrom.

Note that latintopxxx wrote "English language profiles". I think there's an element of truth in what he wrote, even referring to Bangkok. Those Thais who use English instead of Thai language are often money boys, or open for some extra income. Not only in Pattaya, but here in Bangkok as well.

This is my experience, most Thai guys who have english language profiles are targeting foreigners, I do agree that some are just looking for casual hook ups and I have been lucky enough to hook up for free......but most are money boys peddling their wares. most times they contact me as soon as they see me online....and by the 2nd or latest 3rd message the money issue comes up. So real simple to book some fun without leaving your room or the beach. Some are verty straight forward and introduce themselves as money boys with their very 1st message. yes this is true for me, also i was told by mamasun that minimum tip for massage is 500bt thats a normal massage, anything else sexy you tip accordingly, i give 800-1000bt & no problems
