Over the years the Bangkok Skytrain has been ~ for myself ~ a smile-enducing rush hour crush of Thai objects-of-desire. I've never taken any pictures (too shy, too obvious, way too gauche) on the train, but I have stared deeply (leered, lusted!) many a time. On the other hand, firing off photos-on-a-train in Thailand will bring no ill will at all ... I've never met a Thai guy ever unwilling to pose.
But all in all, the skytrain does not really offer much obvious eye contact game-playing: this picture is the epitome of much Skytrain behaviour ... eyes down, am-I-sleeping?, Buddha-ish, hands clasped, crotch protected Asian detachment in a crowd.

As a sartorial aside: not too many guys (and specifically older farangs) can pull off a button-down short-sleeved tartanish type shirt with the top button closed tightly around the neck. But this guy succeeds in spades. I give him a 'LIKE'.
I tried this style once, in a mirror, at home. All I accomplished was a 'look' which resembled being squeezed out of a toothpaste tube. 'NOT LIKE!'.

I keep telling them they do not have to use ALL of those buttons.
