Has anyone been to see My Bromance yet? Seems to be a real "fever" about this movie on social media
Seems that nearly every Thai boy that i know has been to see it in the last 24 hours!
Anyone have any farang opined reviews?

I have to agree about the social media hype. It's getting to the stage where some un-liking/un-friending might happen if it gets any worse!

My Bromance was filmed here in Chiang Mai by a local company. Films are becoming big business here; we've recent been inundated with the Hollywood crowd filming "The Coup" and several other flicks were shot here, notably Rambo whatever it was called. But, it is has some downsides: last years Chinese mega hit "Lost in Thailand" was filmed in Chiang Mai. The result has been a major influx of Chinese tourists about which many are now complaining - Survey shows Chiang Mai Residents Unhappy with Chinese Tourists (http://www.chiangmaicitynews.com/news.php?id=3302).

Does My Bromance mean we will have to fend of hoards of young Thai gay boys? No, that would be too much....
