Living up to the name тАШRose of the North,тАЩ Chiang Mai organises the Chiang Mai Flower Festival to showcase its beautiful flowers and decorative plants which are in full bloom towards the end of the winter season in early February. Suan Buak Hat Park is transformed into an open-air exhibition centre where you can find a magnificent tapestry of floral splendor that blankets the land, agricultural exhibitions, and floral displays, contests, and sales. Orchid lovers should not miss the opportunity to see a variety of beautiful orchids grown by locals. The festival also features flower-decorated floats that parade around the city showing the vibrant colored flowers as well as dancers in traditional costumes.

Highlight: The floral floats compete to find the most beautiful and creative display, and the best float for cultural preservation receives a trophy from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Other highlights include plant and flower sales, as well as several kinds of competitions.

THE POSEPONEMENT OF SILVERLAKE MUSIC FESTIVAL, 2014

Silverlake Music Festival 2014 will be postponed indefinitely. Customers will receive a 100% refund.

Due to the social and political situation currently under way in Thailand, Festival organizers and Bands have agreed that it is neither respectful nor appropriate to host a celebratory event like a music festival when there are greater, more important issues being confronted in Thailand. Silverlake Music Festival would like to thank its fans for all their support and promises that SMF will return in the future, but not until the political climate in Thailand returns to normalcy. SMF would also like to thanks the bands for their cooperation and support through this difficult process.


The Grand Pattaya International Music Festival 2014
14 March 2014 - 16 March 2014
Venue: Pattaya Beach, Beach Road, Chon Buri

Pattaya International Music Festival is one of the best recognized music events in Asia to attract music lovers and fun-seekers from all over the world. The three-day free concert featuring Thai and international artists of every genre starts around 6 p.m. and goes until midnight. Visitors can enjoy beach activities during the day before attending the music festival as the night falls. In addition to the concert, there are booths selling music-related accessories and food stalls within the concert venue.

Highlight: This festival is regarded as тАШThe Longest Beach Music Festival in AsiaтАЩ with 4 different stages at which you can enjoy all styles of music; such as, pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock, and jazz, in the one festival.
