Maybe.

Maybe not.

Odds are ten-to-one she won't have her ear-trumpet screwed in and will think you said, "Eat it."

As to the (type of.) response; all I can say is, "Be ready to Run!"<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

Unless, of course you happen to be 1.] Cute & 2.] Thai. In which case I recommend you carry a, fully charged, stun-gun.

PS: Once I found a place, in Pattaya, with breakfast just the way mother used to make it! I fast until lunch now.

What is one man's opinion of the 'best of Pattaya' worth?

Many of the places mentioned are not my idea of the best. Some are. I do credit his effort tho.

"Each to his own taste" said the cat, as it licked it's ass.

And Nancy'd bought `em all up!

wow let me tell you, how knowledgable you are or it took you a long while to cut n paste that lot, nice one

Try this; when you walk out of sunee with crazies bar on your right, when you come to the end of the soi,(loop) opp. (on the same side as howards), there is a large building, with some motocys outside, but what is it, i've always wondered, as it quite a large place, perhaps accomodation?

hope that got you wondering too...........?!?!?

Darling

If you were out with some butcher last night,I would be interested in the dining estblishment you went to. Beware of Sydney butchers, they are only after your offal....

Did you take Monkleigh with you. Or maybe that could have been somewhere else than Pattaya...Maybe Montys Aus favourites.

I would try Northern England seaside resorts. Better down to earth wholesome fare there. Skate and Sydney!!!!

Further to the comments about the Royal Cliff's Royal Wing (Pattaya's best hotel by some margin), joiners are NOT accepted, period. This has been the policy for several years now. The other Royal Cliff hotels are fine (on payment of the joiner's fee).

AMBIENCE COFFEE SHOP

I was at dinner with some friends last night they were chatting about the best places to eat in Pattaya, one very nice friend who owns several Butchers shops in Sydney said I only eat at Ambience Coffee shop they do all the meals I love and so tasty we said Ambience Coffee Shop as if it was just where you buy a coffee he said yes they do so many simple but great dishes Im amazed more people dont eat there the prawns and breakfast and many more things are wonderful freshly cooked and just the best quality food........

================================================== ====

...now I know I'm getting old, I tried to read this in one breath and couldn't. A few years back I used to stay at the Ambiance and have breakfeast at the Coffee Shop. I would describe the breakfeast as good but not a good value. 80 baht for a glass of Tang (not OJ) is not a good value. But then again maybe the Abience is a different hotel/coffee shop.

I have to ask myself... Self.... What brings you back to Pattaya every trip? And I have to say... If it was any one thing alone I would not return, but with everything together, it helps to make it an OK stop on a Thailand vacation.

But when I think of Pattaya, the one thing I think of most is the beach and the beach vendors. Ahhhhh to think of the calm Thai voice making merry with a guest as they bury the umbrella.... as the ocean waves whisper onto the sand being helped along by the warm sweet morning breeze. All this being painted in my mind on the back of closed eyelids.... as gravity pulls me deeper into the beach chair.... as my feet play deeper into the cool sand.....

EUREKA! I am going back for the BEACH! I just figured that out! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

it was fun to go there, wait for my food--And see how close they came to what I actually ordered.

The novelty soon wore off. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes">

80 baht for a glass of Tang? I wonder how much for real orange juice?

The Dee Dee Inn does a decent breakfast for about 70 baht: orange juice, coffee or tea, two eggs any style, ham, sausage or bacon; toast, butter & jelly--But piss elegant it ain't. But neither is the Ambiance Coffee Shop. I guess you're paying for name recognition. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

I must say , that i do not think that either of the 2 hotels in boystown have very good breakfasts , and both charge too much for what the offer. IF you want a good 1 you might try papa davids in either sunnie plaza or his new one in jomtiem I think that its good value for money.

letmetellu,

Perhaps you could highlight the change that you felt it necessary to make to your original posting, a month later, so that we could note the correction/addition too!

All you need to do is insert a period.

This is considered an "edit", and drives an old thread straight back to the top.

More honest to simply add a "BUMP" message to the end of the thread if one insists on keeping one's post front and centre.

Cheers ...

Actually that was my assumption, and point. Perhaps I veered so far past the edge of subtlety and irony, as to miss the point!

I am not sure what Ambience coffee shop was called when it was on the corner, even before Amor opened. But it was certainly before VBBB started coming. My memory is bit vague, but did the coffee shop move from the corner to the shop next door to where it is now, before relocating ?

Plugging your friends establishments is kind of like using the board to sell your own condo or some other self serving reason..5 stars is a joke for a place with no lift and tiny rooms..okay there are boys everywhere and everything goes but 5 stars like the Dusit..

Please don't reply with the same tired response that I hate someone or I am negative, I am simply tired of your abuse of the forum for your own financial gains..<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

Smiles, to what troll are you referring? Is it BBB or the twins (and don't pretend you don't know which prolific new poster they are). I wonder why you don't post troll notices on so many of the other trolls who inhabit the Board.

Ah well. At least Billy seems to be behaving more than some of the others.

<blockquote>Quote:<hr>the new exciting Charity for Pattaya,<hr></blockquote>

So to avoid any suspicion of mispresentation when did this project become a Charity and on what date was it registered as such?

I am sure people considering making a donation would be much happier having these details rather than suspect their money may not be accurately accounted for as is the requirement of a Registered Charity.

let me tell you: I see you repeatedly editing, presumably updating, the initial post of this thread. Is there some way you can highlight (different color maybe?) what you've changed? The message is so long and it's not easy to see what has been updated. Just a suggestion...

Bkk GWM

The reviews here are so old they are out of date permanently.

Ask her where she has been, other than the two beef and veg, at where she is staying and she couldnt even let the tell tale juices unfold.

Did she not tell you, she is now known on the Strip as Miss Moneypenny....and that says it all.

Any more reviews from the dinest at the finest.

Has LMTY tried the Jomtien Complex restaurants? What were his in depth comments in complimenting his pallet on real fusion flavoured dishes etc.

Want to take a couple of friends so that they can try it out in a new style UK outlet. What recent experiences did you discover?. Please let me know some positive feedback.

thanks in anticipation

Where I have eaten or drank was not the question . I ask for your simply opinion of fusion food....which you know F---k all about so why would I bother to read the other diatribe you utter on this board.

Which Walter Mitty character will answer this time, you pathetic s-d. The Meat and two veg must be keeping the iron up.

The vowel is of course'O'. And you win the Jackpot. You would surely know what an 'O "ring is in a car though, which has all kinds of nasty connotations attached to what it would do LOL

Is there any good reason why the Moderator permits LMTU to bump this (and other) topics back up to the top ad nauseum?

Nobody else on this Board does this continually ... and trust me, there are much more interesting topics around here. To be honest I'd rather wade through one of Surcrest's treatises on racism.

If this topic (or should I say 'ad') is so precious, why not put the damn thing in the Resource Forum and have done with it. It can sit there forever so the folks here can keep refering back there to his FABULOUS OPINIONS AND REVIEWS.

LMTU only wants his name in lights anyway, so why not give it to him ... in another place.

IMHO - only

Cheers ...

OK , Chris , so Lmtu is a joke and cuts and pastes and runs amok like any other village idiot...But, please lets not dreg up
all his old posts for accuracy as it is painful to see them again..They must have changed his medication and he is living in
the Ben Mansion internet shop and ranting and raving so much that some are afraid he might have rabies or some mental
illness..Perhaps, it is long past time for the village idiot to take a break from Thailand and get his shit together, after all he
really has overstayed his welcome and is losing it more and more every day... Good time to pay up old debts and give us all
a break.. Brazil is hot and I hear good things about Spain... :cat: This cat ain't nice when he gets bored to tears with one
amazing piece of cut and pasted writings of other people, without giving credit, and most boring of all is the continuing attacks
on Chris...

of alienating more people who do not like posts like this reappearing, is there any chance of the listing being updated with reviews and recommendations (some of the bars, restaurants etc have closed and others opened and staffing changes in some places mean that some are no longer as described). Despite what may be said, it is informative and helpful.

FABULOUS OPINIONS AND REVIEWS.....remember he always says they are his opinions and it's up to you to dispute and provide alternative evidence if you disagree...

as for you Edith.."It happens when ever Friday the 13th comes on a Thursday"..I can always tell when you are having a subtle dig at me. Every time I perform my party piece "Senza mamma, o bimbo" you say loudly..."must be full moon she's howling again"
