I know its not a thai subject but I put this message on south ease asia forum and only had 2 replys , so here goes , I need info on a mid range hotel in hong kong for a three day stop over on my return trip home would prefer Kowloon side but no probs if not. Also what is the best way to get from the airport and back again

I've previously stayed at the hotel below and found it very acceptable ( although not on the Kowloon side and so not as cheap as some hotels over there) but on the plus side it's right next door to Propaganda, HK's biggest gay club ( if that's your thing) and also right in the middle of the main tourist area - and to and from the airport I found a taxi to be the simplest method ( but maybe that was just me being a lazy bugger ) but as it wasn't "that" far I don't recall the taxi being overly expensive from what I recall and it was certainly easy.

The Butterfly on Prat is in Kowloon. You can take the train from the airport and then the free shuttle from Kowloon station, which stops very close to the hotel, like half a block or closer. There are many eating places in the area and about 2 blocks from Nathan Rd. Very good WiFi. The Sheraton is good if you have more money or the YMCA for a little less, depends on when you are going.
