Some of the best things in Thailand actually come from Burma, and that's especially true in Gay Chiang Mai :) Most of the guys in Chiang Mai's Go-Go clubs are ethnic Tai Yai from Burma's Shan State. The Shan State still has major problems and many young Tai Yais escaped to Chiang Mai as refugees or were trafficked here to work in construction. Despite the issues facing them living here in Thailand, they are some of the nicest people I have met.

Here is a particularly handsome selection of guys from Chiang Mai's Adam's Apple Club (http://www.adamsappleclub.com/) to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Mai Soong Kha!

Of course, for our Tai Yai friends we are a month late as the Shan New Year (Pee Mai Tai) fell on the New Moon at the beginning of December. And what a party that was @-)

If you are in Chiang Mai tonight and looking for somewhere to party check out our gay events on Chiang Mai Gay News (http://www.gayinchiangmai.com/News/) or pop into Radchada Garden Cafe where we will be partying tonight.

Tai Leng - will your wishes ever come true?
