Please please please tell me that the happy snap montage at the top of every forum is only a temporary measure. Lovely colour and all, but to have to scroll through it each time you join a forum, or move from one to another, is self defeating, ie not an encouragement to reach the actual forums.

PS. Now see that it is even worse than I imagined as it reappears even when you move between threads!

Amen to that -it's driving me crazy already. Soon time for another long posting hibernation for me at least.

Change your settings / user control panel / display preferences / - select subsilver 2

I like this clean display.

It's a slideshow in the header. I tested it on the latest versions of each browser. Is not displaying right for some people? It shouldn't cause any additional scrolling. It's the exact same header background images we've had but set to be a slideshow instead of just showing one random picture on each page load.

DO you have javascript disabled?

I had that same problem earlier, but it's now resolved itself

I changed it back to just the single images on each page load in the header. That slideshow thing doesn't seem to work at all on some devices and it's probably the sort of effect that should just be featured on like a photo gallery page or something.

Indeed, it was a photo montage good for a gallery. Pleased to see that it has now gone, thanks. (I have this image of ES in mechanic's overalls with greasy hands bending over under the hood)
