If you were in Thailand and somehow came to learn that you had 24 hours left to live and there was no way to avoid it. Lets just say you were hit by a car and the powers that be sent you back to earth to enjoy just one more day of what life had to offer. How would you spend it? What would you eat? Where would you go?

I imagine myself setting along a busy street eating some noodle soup while watching all the people pass by. Once I was done I would tell the vendor just how delicious their food was. I would then hail a motorbike taxi to take me 10 or 20 feet to a beer bar and pay them a hundred baht or two and tell them I am sharing a blessing. Then I would flirt with the guys till it began to get dark and make my way for the excitement of walking street. I would walk about and just take in all the sights, sounds and smells that, that moment of life has to offer. Tasting everything that I think I may fancy and visiting every establishment I ever wondered about visiting. Then I would make my way to the gogo bars to find a companion to go with me to another bar as my guest. We would watch the shows and hop from bar to bar till I decided to find a guy truly made me retreat to that shy place some guys can send me to. Once he and I were done for the night, I would go out and buy some wine and food and a towel, go and sit on the beach alone and just remember be grateful for all the memories that bring me joy.

And if I still have some time left, I would go find another guy or two. :tongue3:

A Different Question

What if instead of being given 24 hours to enjoy, you were given the chance to relive 24 hours of any day in Thailand. You could not change a thing that happened, you would just be reliving that particular day in its entirety without change.

If I was given the chance to relive only one day in Thailand I first considered my first night when a guy from Dragon Castle website showed me around and spent the night with me. But I think I would choose the night I spent with a guy I use to like in Pattaya. I would choose that day that day of Magic. We also had several great sex encounters that day. So much so that we both agreed that the best word to describe it was "Wow!" Yeah, the butterfly rule book got tossed out the window for him.

It's even funnier how (without even looking at a certain other board) I can predict with certainty that Timmberty's protests will replicate, almost verbatim, their outpourings on the matter. I'll take bets on it!

Having said that - I profoundly disagree with Bucknaway identifying Timmberty by publicly posting a link to his Facebook profile. No doubt the argument will be made that Timmberty put himself in the public domain via his FB profile - but that doesn't wash with me one bit. This is supposed to be an anonymous board - therefore identifying a member by any means is breaching the rules. It's disgraceful behaviour and rather than gloating (above) that he has been "saved" he ought to be issuing a public apology.

However, what I don't quite understand is the clamour for Bucky to be banned - that is not the rule/sanction at all.
The rule is for the post to be removed and the member issued with a warning.

"Any post or thread which violates this... will be deleted immediately. It will also result in a written warning to the offender, and a more serious sanction upon a second occurrence.

I can see that although the body of the post remains, the identifying information has been removed (I regard that as fair - as removing the entire post would render the later exchanges meaningless.)
I would hope the other half of the sanction has been enforced, and I would expect that if it happens again then the member would be banned .

Further, I would suggest that if certain members here do not wish to participate in an anonymous board and would rather play games and "expose" other members, then they fuck off to a board where that sort of behaviour is not only welcomed but positively encouraged. Both sides in this current dispute know quite well how to find their way to such a board.

I think one of the things I would do during my last 24 hours in this life time would be to get down on my knees and pray that my next life would not be spent with ignorant people.
