Dengue Fever Outbreak in 2013

There was a news blurb here in the USA saying Singapore was seeing significantly increased number of cases of Dengue this year with more than 12000 cases, more than double the cases of all of 2012. It said nearby countries were experiencing similar outbreaks.

News reports indicate that Thailand is being hit pretty hard this year by Dengue. Particularly in the Northeast where cases are much worse than the last few years.

Best advice seems to be that if you get a fever run to the hospital.
